Like Older Sibs, Like Younger Sibs

When I saw Josiah and Millie walking around the house all dressed up last week, I had an immediate flashback. It reminded me of a time when Gracie and Gabriel used to play dress-up together. Gabe, completely oblivious to his cross-dressing, loved putting on anything pretty that belonged to Gracie. However, he'd always have SOMETHING on that showed a touch of masculinity. Who cares that he had a purse hanging from his wrist and mismatched high heeled shoes on- he had a hard hat on for goodness' sake! See? All boy.

So when I noticed Millie and Josiah, I had to make a run for my camera (okay, so I slowly waddled, big deal). The resemblance was uncanny.

Except that it looks like Josiah's shoes match and he's missing a purse, but I think that's the exact same hat that Gabe wore! Silly kiddies!

I love it! I have pictures of Samuel like that, too. After all, having 2 sisters, he never had any hope of using the few boy dress up clothes we bought. He was much more intrigued by the sparkly, fluffy, bright stuff. LOL

I love it when I see my younger children doing the same things my older children did! It is so cool!

We just got our 6 yo DS a complete cowboy outfit. I love dress up time! :) Makes for great picture taking. :)

I can't wait for pictures of your newest blessing! I need some inspiration in the infant picture taking arena. :)

Hope you are feeling FANTASTIC! Won't be long now. We are praying for you!

They are just adorable. I love the hard hat. Now I have 3 girls but when our friends were over their little guy dressed up in the pink frilly hats and stuff with my little girls. Completely oblivious at that age...oh the innocence!

Oh good...this makes me feel better that Josh still insists that his favorite color is pink. And he likes to wear Kate's headbands. :) I loved this post because your boys are so oblivious and happy and these pics will be so much fun for them later on in life! LOL!

Guess I missed this one earlier. Too cute! You need to frame those pics together in a double mat.

I remember when Spaz was a toddler and the big kids would play with him. If Biz said, "Hey spaz, let's play," it meant they'd get on the floor and wrestle. If Cheez said it, it'd mean they'd go into her room and he'd soon come running out in a dress.

And then there was the time they dressed him up in one of my bras...
