"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” by Albert Einstein

“It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education.” - Albert Einstein

Nov. 11, 2005 - Curious Dinner Prayer

A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to say the blessing?"
"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.
"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said, "Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"

About Me

We are a curious homeschooling family with curious kids, baby, mom, dad, cat and most curious is our dog. His curiosity gets him into trouble again and again, especially when he is curious about the garbage. The people in our house carry encyclopedias around, even to the bathroom, and like to read the dictionary, large atlases, as well as the BIBLE. We tend to read EVERYTHING (even cereal boxes, junk mail and food labels) and we want to know the answer to all the questions one could ever wonder. We like books on cassettes, CDs, the radio and in our hands. We like to read silently, out loud and mostly before bed. We internet on our networked computers and go enjoy the community library as well as buy oodles of books and I guess that is what curious people do. Have a very BLESSED day full of the exciting curiosity of a child!

“Curiosity is the very basis of education and if you tell me that curiosity killed the cat, I say only the cat died nobly.” Arnold Edinborough
