CyberScryber's Scrybes

• Mar. 18, 2006 - Had A Baking Day

Every weekend, if Chelsey gets all her school work done and at least a 75% on her spelling and math (the two areas that need the most work) I have been taking her and anywhere from one to a whole Expedition full (seven) of her friends out to do something fun like roller skating, the movies, the mall, whatever we decide.  A few weekends ago, all of her friends were either gone or busy, so instead of going out we stayed in and baked.  Our cookies turned out to be more like crispies (I have never been able to make good cookies) but our dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, and banana bread all turned out okay.
