CyberScryber's Scrybes

• Sep. 18, 2005 - The Spelling Of....

Homeschool, or is it home school, or maybe even home-school?  I'm no English professor, but I do realize that English is  a "living language" and as such it is continually changing.  New words are added, old words become obsolete, and some words even change their meaning.  This is all wonderful fodder for English professors who love to get down and dirty; slogging  around in the muck, slugging it out with each other over orthography.  The amusing thing is that at the end of the day, the majority rules and there are more of us (non-English professors) than there are of them.
So, how do
you spell homeschool and why?
