The LORD, the LORD God,
merciful and gracious, longsuffering,
and abundant in goodness and truth.
Exodus 34:6
A Brief Intro
"Morning by morning, new mercies I see" - Mercy in the Morning will hopefully reflect God's abundant mercy given NEW every morning. As homeschoolers, mothers, wives and daughters of the King, we are in need of mercy in the morning. May He be glorified.

Okay - my second son is now blogging. I am a proud momma. Check it out here He and I just got back from our area's homeschool used book sale and had a great time together.
Those of you with younger children - do not fear - the teen years can be a great blessing (and a great responsibility). You will soon realize that God is faithful to complete the work He has started in them. We may plant when they are younger, we may water when they are older, but it is God who alone brings the increase. Keep planting and watering! It's worth every minute of struggle and iron sharpening iron between you. You will find your children to be friends who love to be with you in the end. I am blessed.
Thanks for your visit and your encouragement. Your son's blog is precious. To see a boy his age writing about "being still" and remembering God...just amazing. I look forward to reading more of his posts. Gifts of encouragement and teaching seem to run in the family!!
Love in Him,
Michele
I'm glad I came across your blog. My oldest daughter is going to be in 9th grade this year! I really enjoyed your post about Psalm 16:11. That is one of my favorite verses, though it is hard to choose :)
Blessings, Cheryl
Thanks for the encouragement! There are those days when I wonder. But God is so good. He gives me strength, and I know that one day my children who are so small now will be encouraging me in my faith.
I enjoyed reading your encouraging words about teenagers! I need to remember that God is the One who supplies the increase and I am in charge of planting and sowing. Sometimes with teens the increase is hard to see. I am blessed with 2 wonderful teenage daughters but we are in the thick of some struggles with one. Thanks for the reminder!
I hadn't been a registered homeschoolblogger for an hour before your sweet son posted a reply to my first blog entry, welcoming me to the community here. What a sweetheart. Please tell him that he has really touched me. :)
I homeschooled for 6 years (2nd and 3rd grades and all 4 years of highschool). My husband and I lived in Auburn and Roseville the first few years of our marriage. And I enjoyed your peom about having more children (though I was very sorry to read of your miscarriage). Blessings to you and your family!
