Back Home

Hey Ya’ll,

Wow, it has been three weeks and two days since my Dad’s crash. In some ways it feels like years have passed and in others, it feels like it was just yesterday. Some days are really hard and others, I sometimes forget that he is dead. Then I feel horrible for forgetting about him. But we…or I….am much better.  Walking through the valley of death is so not easy. God didn’t say that is would be easy, but that he was going to be there with us. God has never left our sides throughout this entire ordeal. I know we wouldn’t of made it without Him.

Well, we got back home to Alabama Sunday night. We brought Sandy and her three kids with us and I believe they are staying a month. It is so good to be home. It’s nice in Louisiana, visiting family and staying at Celeste and Ryan’s house, but it’s really good to be home. (sigh)

We’ve been trying to get the house back in order from not being lived in for three weeks. It’s slowly coming along. Almost ready for the company that we are going to be having. (yay!) lol!

Monday morning we went shopping for food. You know, the big, huge shopping trip that comes after being gone for a long while. So, that was fun. I’m not sure what’s going on today, probably more house work and such.

Oh ya’ll! Our garden is absolutely gorgeous! How could that be with us gone?....you might ask. Well, our wonderful church family and neighbors of course. They took care of our yard and garden while we were gone. There is not a single weed in the garden right now. We don’t have any veggies growing just yet, but I’m sure it won’t be long before we are picking green beans, lima bean and tomatoes. ^_^ I’ll try and get some pictures of it soon.

 Luv always,

Sarah

Glad your doing better Sarah. I've been praying and will continue!

No weeds! I need your neighbors over here, LOL. We have way too many weeds and we never actually get rid of them all. Why you ask, because we have 10 ares. Yeah, imagine all those weeds :)

Have a blessed week!

Sarah,
It was so good to see you tonight and hear you play!! We enjoyed getting to do that for the first time! Hopefully we will get to come back and play again together. You and your family have been in my heart and in my prayers and I know that the Lord will see you thru this. Keep you Faith in the Lord and He will guide you.
Love,
Sis. Tammy

Let's see if I can do this, I tried yesterday but never managed to finish.
I was just wanting to say, I do not think we can forget sorrows like this. Just because you are not always thinking of your dad does not mean you have foegotten him. I am starting to think there is a special place in our hearts were our deepest sorrows go. I think they get tucked away safely in there.
Though we do not always think of them they are there, and it would not be good for them to always be on our minds. But they are in our hearts in a very dear place.
We will still smile and laugh, and if he is able to look down from Heaven he will smile because he will see your smile.
I am not sure that is what I had intended to put, but there it is, that is what came out.

Wow, 11 people saved. That is remarkable. How great and wonderful is Our Lord, that can bring such miracles from tragedy. I will be praying for your family to have continued strength and comfort from Our Lord. Jeannine

Sorry, I have heard of Lexington but I don't know where any of those places are. When I did live in Alabama I was either traveling around a lot or I was really little. Oh, and yes, I do live in Virginia now. I was actually born here. Anyway, I gotta go now but before I do I have a favor to ask you. Please pray for my little sister, she is having a play tonight, please pray that everything goes well. Thanks a lot. I'll talk to you later.
God bless
Love,
Hannah

Hey girl, it's good to hear from you. I know y'all are glad to be back home, and I'm so glad to hear the hope in your writing; to know that you're leaning on the Lord and He's helping you through this. I'll keep praying for you all.

To answer your question, I'll be in Guatemala for about a week and a half. It's coming up soon and I'm so excited, but unprepared too!!

Love you,
Ashley

About ME!

Hi there! My name is Sarah. I'm a born-again Christian and a relocated Cajun. I love the Lord. I'm 18, and weird, but my family still loves me, lol....I think.... I thank God everyday for my wonderful family and friends. One of my great passions is playing my violin/fiddle (no there is no difference) I love playing in church and for just about anyone who would listen. But most of all I play for God and Dad. I'm sure God allows my dad to hear me wherever I am. God does special and awesome things like that for his children. One of my other great passions is writing. I'm always starting some new story....I just never finish the ones that I already have. ^_^
