Star Spangled Banner-- a work in progress

We have been working on learning all the words to The Star Spangled Banner-- verses 1 and 2. Yes, we are obviously still working on it! LOL This was (definitely!) not their best performance but... well, it just makes me smile. :-) Yes boys, I sometimes have trouble with those high notes too. And trying to decide between saying "the" like thee or thuh... that's always a tough call in the music world.

How fun! Great job, boys! My almost-5-yr-old learned "My Country 'tis of Thee" and sang it tonight in between fireworks. :)

Thanks for posting about my soup on my blog. It is hot here too... 112 today ... but we still like this soup for dinner. It is so light and good.
