As I write this post, there is a 93 year old gentleman lying in a hospital bed in a coma, moments away from death. Some would say "Well, he's had a full life." And to that I say, "Yes, he has." Others might say, "Well, he is old... you knew it was coming." Of course everyone dies one day, but that still makes this day sad. Sad because he is my dear, sweet mother-in-law's daddy-- whom she really does still call daddy!

That was a beautiful post! It makes me think of my last words I said to my grandpa who was in the hospital on his birthday 10 years ago. I called him and sang him happy birthday and told him I loved him. He died 3 days later. I'm so glad I was able to tell him that before he went home to be with Jesus. Sometimes the simplest words are the most important.

Awww it's always heart-breaking to see a loved one pass, even though "everyone dies". May I ask if he is saved? I hope so. :)

We're visiting my dh's grandma next week, a few states away. She's 95. We'd be sad to lose her, too.

This brought tears to my eyes. It doesn't really matter the age...when you lose someone you love it still hurts!

It's always tough and stinky to lose someone you love, who you wish would and could live forever, becasue the earth needs more people like Mr Boulware!!
I'm sad for you tonight, friend.....but we know where he is and Who he's with....
I'm praying!
