Did you get out to day among all the crazy shoppers?  We did.  We didn’t really have much choice.  I was washing clothes late Wednesday evening when my oldest son said he smelled something burning.  We found out that the motor had taken out on our washer and left us with a washer full of water and soapy wet laundry.  Argggg!!!!  Well our washer was old enough that we felt it would be better to just replace it.  Our dryer was having troubles also, so we ended up getting a new set today.  I’ve been thinking all day that out of all the things we could have spent money on, a washer and dryer would not be my first choice!!!!!  We did end up salvaging the day though, we spent a really nice time out with our children after all the shopping.  We took them to a movie and then walked around an outdoor mall that was all decorated for Christmas.  It was really pretty.  Hope you had a nice day!

I needed to go get my vacuum from the repair shop yesterday, but decided to wait until Monday. I was happy that I managed to avoid shopping malls yesterday,but now I still don't have my vacuum! I hope you enjoy your new washer and dryer. Do you think homeschoolers are especially sensitive to crowds because usually we can avoid them?
