Right now we are using the book Exploring Creation with Botany by Jeannie Fulbright.  I really love this book.  It is REAL thorough.  But, typical me, even though it is very thorough, I like to add my own touches.  I sometimes can have two or three different curriculum going at once.  So I was searching for things on the web to go along with our study of plants and thought I’d share them with you guys.  There is some great stuff on the web, including a free plant LAPBOOK, notebooking pages, unit studies, coloring pages and tons of clip art that you can use in lapbooks, projects and notebooking. Please keep in mind that I have not thoroughly previewed these sites.  While most of them will be perfectly safe for children, I cannot guarantee it.  Please view them yourself before showing your children. What a treasure trove- I spent a lot of time tonight looking into the sites you listed! So many ideas and resources...I loved the timeline listed at history scribe by the by and it's price. As for the soy thing, Mr. Rutz just posted his sixth and final part in the series. If you're interested, go back to World Net Daily (link in my sidebar) and look up Mr. Rutz in the writer archives. I'll be heading back to find his first four myself. Scary stuff.

Like my hubby said, if we would just use things the way God made them instead of trying to make it "better" or "healthier" maybe we wouldn't be getting sick off of the food He created for us. Interesting lesson.

Thank you for the nice comment on my site about my school room. I'm really excited about it. Our living room looks quite bare now, but now I can make it a living room/computer room and it's less cluttered!!! :) YEAH! I'm not sure either what I would do with the age difference. If they play well together and one wouldn't wake the other up at night, I would probably do it. Our kids did great this morning. They played and didn't scream--which is sooo much nicer--and hubby and I felt much more relaxed. :) I know school time will be nicer too just having a main place for school and not having things everywhere.
