Sick Children
Hi everyone! I probably will not be on as much today unless my children start feeling better. My oldest has cold symptoms and coughed half the night. The doctor took a rapid strep test and it came back negative. My little one is the one though I'm going to have to cuddle and coddle. Poor little guy has 101 fever and an upset stomach. I think the stomach ache is just from phlem or at least I'm hoping. He said his tummy felt bad last night, but kept pizza down. Right now I'm waiting on my brother- in- law to swing by with Children's Motrin. All we had was Children's Tylenol liquid and the little one just spit it back out. He had some medicine that made him spit up a few months ago and he thought this was the stuff, so he refused to take it. So hopefully he will be here soon and I can get the little guys fever down.

Even though we are in two different countries we are doing the same thing. Taking care of sickies. my youngest two and myself are down with a cold. My Noah felt like he was going to throw up this morning. I am sure it is also from phlem. )0=
I pray your day goes well my SSiC.

Sorry the kids are sick. I pray that it is only colds, having kids that are throwing up is always so much harder.

I hope they feel well soon. I agree with your little one. Medicine is icky. I worry more when my kids are agreeable about taking it. That's when I know they're REALLY sick!
Get well soon.
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina

Lynn, I hope everyone feels better soon and I hope you don't end up getting it too! Nothing worse! I am hanging in there. I am a bit overwhelmed by the volume of stuff still to move!

Hang in there! I know first hand that when "mama" gets sick the whole house goes hungry and naked! So, I will pray that you stay well and those kiddos get better soon.

Hope your children get better soon. Better take care of yourself, too, just in case. In my prayers. Ginny

I'm sorry your little ones are sick! Cuddles are the best medicine!!! Good for you, Mom!
Gigi was pretty sick last week. She's on a 14-day round of antibiotics. It's white & it's gritty. I don't know how she takes it, but she's a trooper!
I hated taking the liquid medicine when I was a kid! I think that's why I dread giving it to Gigi. She doesn't seem to mind it though.
I remember when I was about 10 I had a headache. I had switched to chewables by then. My mom was on the phone & I told her I didn't feel good, so she gave me a Tylenol. I popped it in my mouth & began to chew it up only to find it was NOT a children's chewable! YUCK is an understatement! She felt so bad about it, but couldn't stop laughing at the face I made.
I'll be praying you stay healthy!
