Ancient Greece Unit Study

Well, I had to skip Ancient Egypt for now.  I lost a resource that I needed to go with Egypt.  This is a group of resources that I put together to go along with our study of Ancient Greece.  It really could be used for history without additional resources for grades up to about 8^th grade, but I’m a curriculum- aholic, so I will be using additional book resources.  Do not feel like everything has to be completed, this is more of a suggestion list to choose from.  Please review all websites before allowing your children to see them.  Many of the sites are for adult background knowledge and not meant for children.  In addition, even sites for children could contain nude artwork and pagan info, so please use your discretion for your family.  Please talk with your children about a Biblical response to the things they will be reading when studying Ancient Greece.  I would not start having children study Greek Mythology until they have a clear understanding of make believe and understand they are false gods.  Even older children may need help understanding all the humanistic ideas that are present in the Greek Classics and the humanistic ideas the Greeks have.  Some additional resources that you may want to consider purchasing are: Greek and Latin word study notebooking pages, Ancient Greece history notebooking pages, some other Ancient Greek notebooking pages (look at sample first, they are slightly different), Ancient Greece lapbook and Guide.  This unit will be stored under my history category if you want to refer to it at a later date.  Enjoy!
