The Thinking Award
JoAnn made a really good point on her blog about the Thinking Award. I didn't give the origins much thought as I just passed it along. I love tags and enjoy this type of thing so I passed the tag along to just a few of the very worthy blogs out there. I really appreciate BChsMamaof3 for thinking of me as she gave me this "award", but I am going to take it off of my blog though. The person who started this "award" wants every one to link back to him and quite frankly, he has things on his blog that I don't aprove of. I still mean every word that I said about the people I passed this "award" to, so I will be keeping the post about it on my blog, but I will be removing the "award" itself since it is suppose to link back to the other site. I guess this will teach me to look more closely at things, before passing them along. I hope I have not offended anyone, I don't want anyone to think I am judging them and I hope no one has judged me because of this.

Okay now I feel like a bit of a schmuk! I should have looked a little closer at what I was passing along before I did so and I have completely learned my lesson! Slap my hands : ) After reading your post and a few others I took the time to go back to the original blog and check it out a little more thoroughly and see that I should have done it to start with.
But on the other hand I completely meant what I said when I passed it along to you! It was sent to you in kindness and with very good intentions : )

Frankly Lynn, I have been so busy that I started to fell guilty that I had not put it on my blog and given it away to others yet! I read what JoAnn (2peter318) had to say and I was surprised. I knew that you had not passed along knowingly, so I took the award as it was intended and for that I still thank you! You are right. This is a good lesson. If I were a good graphic designer, I'd make a new blog award and then give it to you!

I appreciate you bringing this up. I had always felt very funny about the logo on the award. I never really wanted to put it on my side bar, so I hadn't. I did put it in the post but I just took off the graphic and link in the post on my blog. I left the post and put the name of the award instead of the graphic. God has been laying it on my heart to figure out how to make a button or graphic and reading your post has made me realize why. (0= So I will do it if I can and I will let you know if I do. (0= I would love to start something like this for the Lords using. For His glory. May this idea be blessed for His Kingdom.

Thanks for posting on my blog about Alaska's ridiculous weather!! Nice to hear from you... I wish I understood this blog better, I can't seem to understand how to message people properly so i just end up leaving comments everywhere. haha..

I wanted to thank you for posting this. I had been working on my list of 5 to nominate, but just had this nagging feeling that I shouldn't do it. So, I kept putting it off. I'm so glad I read this post. I went to this person's site & scrolled down to read entries in their April blog posts...it is definitely something I do not want my blog linked to! Thanks so much for the "heads up" and also for the thoughtful nomination. That was more meaningful to me than posting the banner on my blog! You're such an inspiration to me!!!

I never got around to it but spent days trying to come up with thinking blogs only to go there and see they had already been chosen, it got abit weird for me because everyone was thinking except me :)

I applaud you, I wouldn't link to something that I didn't feel was appropriate either. You have to do what you have to do, I try to keep things on my blog child friendly. From time to time things may slip through, but I understand what you mean. Best wishes!
