7 Things You Don't Know About Me
I was tagged by Keri and suppose to  come up with 7 things you don't know about me.  So here goes:

1.  Well, both Keri and Jenn mentioned how they like their doors, so I'll start with that.  I have a habit of leaving cabinet doors wide open (ok, I can hear Jenn cringing right now! ), but I leave my front door closed and locked (unless kids are outside) even when home!!!
2.  I leave lights on all over the house.  I know it wastes electricity, but our house is really dark.  The windows just really don't let in a lot of light and I don't like dark rooms.
3.  I never finished college.  I am a senior!  I really don't have that much to go and if you were to count my credit hours I probably have more than  you need but I need certain classes to finish, but I kept switching majors.  At one point I considered psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology and enviromental science (early 90's thing!).  My best subjects were Astronomy and Sociology.  I stunk at math so Astronomy as a major was really out of the question even though I did really well in the class.
4.  When I was teenager, I wasn't sure if I wanted kids and I said if I did, I would be at least 28, have only 1, would keep my career and if it was a boy, I'd send it back!!!!   Well, I guess God decided He'd show me!!!!   I have two very active little boys and well I of course,  not only stay home with them, but I homeschool them.  Geeesh....
5.  I would love to have more kids but because of my health problems and my children's issues, we are unsure if we will have any more.
6.  I REALLY HATE spiders!!!!!!!!  I won't even teach curriculum about them (so no units studies for sure!!!).  If my children want to learn about spiders they have to learn on their own.  I wouldn't even go see Charlotte's Web.
7.  I was a teen in the 80's and still have fond memories of that time period.  I use to use gold colored mouse (and even used purple hairspray a time or two, but not often), paint my nails lavendar and had big hair (not horribly big).  I use to listen to Michael Jackson, Modonna, Cindy Lauper, Rick Springfield, Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams.

Man, that was harder than it looked!!!  I tag everyone!!! If you make a list, please let me know and I will come read it!!

You do hate spiders, lol. You made me smile when you said about having boys, to see how we have one set of plans and then the Lord comes along and sets our life in a total different direction :) We listened to the same music, except Madonna. Thanks for sharing I have enjoyed reading your 7 things.

Hi. This is my first visit to your blog. I like it. I noticed that we both live in Ohio (the temp tipped me off) and both were teens in the big hair 80s. God Bless! Anissa

I think that is a 90s thing too!! I am less than a semester away from 2 different degrees but alas never finished them. Now ... its been so long it would take me at least 2 semesters to finish up. I probably never will. Too busy with other things!

I thought Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper and Madonna (in her early days) were pretty good, too, and as a college student, that music often distracted me from my studies!

I just hadn't stopped by in a while and was checking to be sure that all is well. I am beginning to think about next year with only about 4 weeks left for us, so I will go through your archives and see what I might be able to add to our studies for next year. God bless you!

Hey fellow 80's friend (0;.

" even used purple hairspray a time or two, but not often), paint my nails lavendar and had big hair (not horribly big). I use to listen to Michael Jackson, Modonna, Cindy Lauper, Rick Springfield, Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams"

~ Hee hee. I remember this too well ! I use to paint my nails in different shades of purple...in stripes , poka dots. ROFL I also remember that if you moved one hair you move the whole side of the head of hair b/c of ALL that hairspray. In my 8th grade year there was not a day I did not wear purple ! lol Like Bubbebobbie said I remember Duran Duran.
Did you ever have splochy bleached jeans, I did. (0=

I had a HARD time reading the Homeshool Carnival b/c I have a phobia of BEES ! lol I skimmed really brief time but couldn't handle looking at ALL those bees and they had that close up pic !!! Too much for me my SSiC. Now you know a bit more about Me. (0= I have to find my old post of 7 things you don't know about me list.

God Bless my SSiC
