Night Out, Last Night
My hubby and I got to go out last night with my best friend and her husband before they move to Poland. YEAH!!! We met them at a restaurant and had a really good visit. They are planning to come for a visit at Christmas, so hopefully I'll get to see her then. While they are in Poland, they plan to tour other parts of Europe and she said she would send pictures. That is going to be so cool. I'll have to work it into my curriculum for next year. I was aready planning on adding more about other countries and this is just too good of oportunity. My oldest will love learning more about Europe.

I was wondering what you do with your boys for math. I am not sure what to do next "school year". Currently Noah is in K and Ellie is prek. They have been doing the same work though. I was just wondering.
Happy that you were able to have a good time last night! We all need that sometimes and especially due to the fact your friend is moving. have a good sunday!

I'm so glad you had a chance to go out with your friend before they had to leave. It sounds like you had a great time. :)

A night out with friends...what is that? Oh, I kind of remember! (LOL) I'll be good now.
That is awesome. I am glad you had that time before they leave. Maybe you'll post some of the pictures they send?

(All doors closed and accounted for at both houses!) Oh and I agree, if your boys would tend to act out movies, Night at the Museum would not be a good one to watch! (Yikes!)

Thanks for your post. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Maya & Miguel, a show on PBS in the afternoons -- http://pbskidsgo.org/mayaandmiguel -- that emphasizes cultural diversity and language learning but I’m reaching out to talk to parents about the program as part of a marketing project I’m working on with Scholastic.
I found your post and thought I’d reach out to say hello and ask if you’d like to receive a free Maya & Miguel DVD. If you’d like to receive the DVD just email me at Kerri at boldmouth.com with your address and I’ll have it shipped it out to you.
If you do choose to blog about Maya & Miguel show or episodes on the DVD, please make it clear how you received the information. Our goal is to be open and honest with everyone we reach.

I'm sorry to hear your best friend is going to be so far away. But communication is so much easier than it was when we were missionaries in the 80's! And who knows, you might be able to go and visit! We had several different people come and visit while we were in France. And Poland would be so cool!
