Free Hands- On History Books Posted in Freebies
Here is a freebie site that has some really cool History hands on activity books. Unfortunately, you can only sign up for it if you live in the United States.  The site has some stuff I don't approve of, but under the children's section, I was able to get 11 activity books such as Great Colonial American Projects and Great Pioneer Projects. These books sell in Rainbow Resource for more than $10.00. You do have to give some info when signing up and if you don't want to use your credit card (it free, but for ID purposes) or anything like that, you will need a permanent e-mail address, not a free one like Yahoo. It takes like a day to verify if you use an e-mail address. Also, to let you know, the downloads for me were real slow and we have dsl. I pretty much clicked it and then left it. We have been thoroughly enjoying our warm weather. The blessings and I have been walking every evening after dinner and kitchen clean up. I am uploading pictures as we speak, so I plan on posting a long post of our walk tonight, so hopefully all will go well and I can get it put together here soon. Have a wonderful weekend. Melissa

It wouldn't let me sign up because my email allows anonymous or something like that. I don't have a credit card and do not want to give them my driver's liscence scanned. It sounds like it was a great find though.
