Monday Meanerings

For more information visit Tiany's blog.
Yep! This means I'm finally better. The new antibiotics worked wonders. I still have to go slow because it really took it's toll, but I'm definitely over the worst of it. I do have a prayer request for my oldest son. He has to have a root canal Monday morning due to an accident. For more info see this post.
1. Bible Study/ Devotions
•Prayers for Homeschool Moms by Michele Howe
2. "Must Do"
This week I “Must”
•Go to the dentist with Prince Caspian for his root canal. For more info, see this post.
•Continue beating on my house. -I feel really behind, this is going to take awhile
•Get back to school with Little One. I think our Christmas break has gone on long enough!
3. Zone
•Computer room- I was making a lot of headway, then Christmas came and I got sick. So I need to get back to this!
4. Train Them Up
•I'm not sure right now, I'll get back to this one later.
5. Wellness- I'm setting up a new category for myself. As many of you know, I have ongoing health problems. The doctor says these problems are stress related, but she has also said it was very likely, I could have fibromyalgia (sp?). I have both a family history of it and a LARGE number of the symptoms. Fibromyalgia is a double edge sword. You have to really take care of yourself to manage the symptoms, but because you are in pain and exhausted all the time, you really don't feel like taking care of yourself. I'm going to have to take baby steps while making changes or I will wear myself out and be back to square one.
•Drink more water
•Take vitamin regularly
•Take out time to read (to de- stress)
Please don't hesitate to hold me accountable to this. I really need to make these changes. I know they are really small, but hopefully it will be just a first step.

Lynn,
I am so glad to hear you are on the upswing of things! That is great. I am sending you a link to this book that my Pastor recently found for those with CFS/ Fibromyalgia http://www.endfatigue.com/ He found much information here to be very helpful for his CFS that he has and is learning to live with.

I'm so glad you are feeling better. I have said a prayer for PC, and I pray it all goes well. Let us know how he does. And continue to get the rest you need. :)

I am still waiting for all the meds the E. R doctor gave me this weekend to kick in. I guess I am a little better, so long as I dont move or talk.

I am so happy that you are feeling better. And I am glad to hear you are not trying to be normal too soon. I hope things go well today for PC. Please keep us posted. I have never had a root canal either and I don't think it sounds like fun. I've had plenty of work done with braces though, so I know dental pain is not something to take lightly.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm also glad you are going to work slowly and gently toward healthy choices for your body. A little temple maintenance is a good idea, I think. :')
Praying you are feeling stronger each day. Praying your appointment with the little Prince goes well. Also praying for the peace that transcends all understanding to blanket you for a while.

Hurray! You are back!!! Hurray! I prayed and prayed for you... Hurray! Now, PC will be on the prayer chain for his poor tooth. Poor guy. I had one of those when I was 8 due to an accident. I still have the tooth - it didn't break like everyone said it would. I just had to get it bleached when I was older because it became gray.... no worries though. Healthy.
Keep us posted on that little guy.

I enjoyed reading your MM post too. I will try to keep you accountable, but my own mind and memory often fail me...
