Dear eyelashes, wishbones, dandelions, pennies, shooting stars, 11:11, and birthday candles. Do your job.

Well so far, today has been awesome. I got to go see Jobe, we visited for a little while and then we went over to his Aunt Tommie Rays house to hang out with her, my “new best friend” Twinkie (who by the way is Jobe’s little cousin who used to hate me because she wanted to marry him, and then I came along. Now she loves me! Lol), and baby Ashlynn (another adorable cousin of his). We had a great time visiting, and hanging out together. I consider them my “un-biological” family. I love them all so much! I already can’t wait to see them again. ♥I think our whole family may get to see them all tomorrow because Jobe’s brother is possibly going to be having his birthday party tomorrow, so that will be fun. (: My day is always so much better when I get to see Jobe and his family, they’re the best.

Also my friend Denise, wanted me to let all of you homeschool bloggers know that she will be deleting her account very soon and that she will now be blogging here:

http://hiedi-justkeepsmiling.blogspot.com/

So go check her new blog out and follow her if you have a google account! Ok?

At church this week we’ve been having a revival, and our guest speaker has been Dr.S.M Davis! The sermon’s have been so amazing, I recommend his preaching to every individual and family. You can find his sermons on his website I think, and many other very helpful tools there also. He truly is a wonderful mad of the Lord, and his ministry can be very useful. If you’re having ANY sort of family problems, parenting problems, personal problems, even if they are little I totally recommend his ministry. Because small family problems, can become big in an instant… and you won’t even see it coming sometimes. So take advantage of every opportunity the Lord sends to help build a stronger family for the Lord! You can find his ministry here:

“I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” Prom- 2011

Well I’ve talked about it for weeks and now I can finally say I went to Prom with Jobe at his school on Saturday! It was a blast!

The theme of the amazing Prom I went to was based on the song “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” -Aerosmith It’s a very beautiful song and I loved it. Everyone was so beautiful and Prom was just very amazing.  Even though it did end up raining, and my hair got wet after Amy spent over an hour on it… it could’ve been worse. Haha! We went to Amy’s to get my hair done and get pictures taken, then we had to go to Jobe’s Mama’s house so she could see us, then we went to his Grandma Lucille’s house to see the rest of the family and to get more pictures taken, and then to the school for even more pictures and Prom! (: We felt like celebrities… although Jobe was tired of all the pictures, he hates getting pictures taken. :P   But we had a lovely time getting to eat with and talk to some friends, watch a slide show made by the Juniors (Jobes grade), listen to the Wills and Prophecies by the Juniors and Seniors, but then it started storming so no one really danced since they were letting out early and we didn’t stay for the lock in. But over all, Prom was awesome!

Anyways I better get some pictures posted of me, my date and some friends so y’all can see what I’ve been talking about for weeks now! Hehe

Me & Jobe at Prom <3

The Gorgeous Haley & Hillary! (:

Austin with his new ears Haha & Courtney looking gorgeous as usual!

Jobe & Kaily.. they’re such good friends, it’s almost like they’re brother and sister (:

The Boys (Jobe and Austin)! Gotta love ‘em (;

Me & the amazing Courtney!

Well I could post many more, but I don’t have the time or space. So if you have Facebook, add me so you can check out all my pictures!  I think the pictures turned out good. We had an awesome time, and I can’t wait ’til next year! Love y’all and thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to comment and grab my blog button on my sidebar. God Bless and have an awesome day.

Smile! It increases your face value (:

I figured today I should just do a “catch up with Rachel” post.  And just so ya know, the title of this post serves no purpose other than the fact that I love the movie “Steel Magnolias” and that is one of my favorite quotes from it! (: So since sometimes I forget to fill my readers in on my life… here we go!

Well first, I’m very excited to announce that tomorrow night I am going to Prom!! (: I have pretty much everything ready: my dress is done being hemmed, I have someone awesome to do my hair, I’ve got my makeup together, jewelry…well my sister’s letting me borrow hers after she’s done with her Prom tonight, got a hand bag, shoes… oh and my date!  The whole package! I haven’t been this excited in forever. I’m so ready, excited, and happy. Getting everything ready has been stressful, but now I’m just trying to relax and have fun! Plus, today it’s been super sunny and warm so maybe the Lord will bless me tomorrow with a day like today. I’ll pray for that tonight. So everyone, wish me luck and please (as silly as this sounds) pray for some sunshine tomorrow! Thanks.

If you haven’t already noticed, on my sidebar I have a blog button! My friend Collin over at:

http://www.collinmizell.com/

made it just for me! I was very pleased with the beautiful button, so all my blogging buddies can put it on their sidebars for me. (: I’d appreciate if all of y’all would grab it and paste it on to your sidebar also. I LOVE my readers and always look forward to more. Although my button is just a little too wide for my particular blog, I’m working on having that fixed. So thank you so much Collin, and thank you to all of you in advance who grab my button. (:

Also, here lately I’ve been having some stomach trouble… so I’d appreciate prayer for that too. It’s just pain, but it’s awful bad pain. The doctor thought at first I may have an ulcer, but my lab results came back normal. Right now I’m taking Zantac and Pro-biotics for it but they aren’t helping. So next week I’ll have a CT scan and the week after I think I’ll have an upper G.I. So, just please pray that the doctors can figure out what’s wrong with my tummy and find something to fix it!

I’ve been walking alot lately too! Used to, I’d never walk anywhere. Now I’ve been walking to Main Street and the grocery store with a couple of my siblings, the exercise has been nice. Just because you’re skinny doesn’t mean you don’t need exercise… I thought it did but I was wrong! I was so out of shape, so the walking has helped me feel alot healthier for sure!  (:

Anyways, I don’t have much else to say so I better go finish getting some stuff done before the big day tomorrow! Thanks for reading y’all and don’t forget to comment and grab my button! God Bless, and love all y’all.

If it isn’t a baby, then you aren’t pregnant, so what are you aborting?

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:

‘Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I’m pregnant again. I don’t want kids so close together.

So the doctor said: ‘Ok and what do you want me to do?’

She said: ‘I want you to end my pregnancy, and I’m counting on your help with this.’
The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: ‘I think I have a better solution for your problem. It’s less dangerous for you too.’

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: ‘You see, in order for you not to have to take care 2 babies at the same time, let’s kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we’re going to kill one of them, it doesn’t matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: ‘No doctor! How terrible! It’s a crime to kill a child!

‘I agree’, the doctor replied. ‘But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.’

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that’s already been born and one that’s still in the womb.

The crime is the same!

Dear John- Movie Reveiw

“Dear John” is a  romantic drama based on the novel by best selling author,  Nicholas Sparks and directed by Lasse Hallstrom. “Dear John”  is also rated PG-13 for some sensuality and violence.

In the move while John (Channing Tatum)  is on leave in his hometown, he finds Savannah (Amanda Syfried) , a college student visiting the town. Even though  love was unexpected, that doesn’t mean they didn’t find it. They learn that love can transform us in ways we never could have imagined. With the knowledge of John having to leave for the army, their love still lasts… until his re-signs on due to the 9/11 attack. Troubles arise and their love is put on hold.

Personally, I felt like I was expecting more from a film based on a Nicholas Sparks Novel! All of the movies based on his books were beautiful, touching, and passionately romantic. But this film seemed so.. un-realistic? So many of the situations were not something that would happen in real life, even for a movie. I mean sure, there were a few sections that made me say “Aww” or even touched my heart a little but I just wasn’t feeling the emotions of the actors and actresses like I thought I should. If you have alot of extra time and just want a slow paced, romantic drama then I would recommend this movie. But if what you’re searching for is a tear jerking, heart touching, beautiful romantic movie to really enjoy, I recommend something more like “The Last Song”, “When In Rome”, or possibly “Message In a Bottle”. I liked “Dear John” but I didn’t LOVE it so I give this movie about… 3 and a half (possibly 4) out of 5 stars I think.

Hope that helped y’all and hope y’all enjoyed my review! I didn’t have alot of time to work on this one but still comment and let me know what you think. (:

P.S- This is my 100th post!
