Something encouraging!

This morning I was paging through my Bible, not looking for anything in particular to read... when there, my eyes met up with a verse I had marked a few months ago... I'm sure most of you have read it, but I'm gonna share it here again...

"(9)The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in the times of trouble. (10)Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." (Psalm 9:9 & 10)

Then here's also another one which I like quite a bit, it's one of my favorite verses and has a lot of meaning...

"Leave your troubles with the Lord, and he will defend you; he never lets honest men be defeated." (Psalm 55:22)

Pretty neat huh? I'd say so...  if you all are ever worrying about something or stressing over something, just give it up! There is no use in making yourself feel like that... God will always take care of everything, it's a promise of His and you can trust Him with everything!

But then you think, It was perfect, God planned this for me, I just know it.... now why is this happening?! Well, it's happening, because it's a part of God's plan, then you think again, How on earth can something like this be a part of God's plan?!!! I was following His will, it seemed it was what He wanted for me, everything was going just fine, until... until this had to go and happen! Well, you know, it's still a part of His plan...  you can "say" that 'it can't be' as much as you want, it won't change anything. Maybe He is just putting you through whatever it is, to get you to turn out stronger, to learn to trust Him more fully!

It says it all... but through that, you have to trust God, it's the only way to true happiness! Believe me... I've had some pretty tough times myself, but I've trusted God... and it all turned out just right! It may not have been what I wanted, but since it's what God wanted, that's the best...

Giving Thanks

This was an awsome post and you brought out some really neat thoughts. As I was reading it 1 Thessalonians 5:18 came to mind: Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Thanks for sharing - I was blessed!
