Feb. 11, 2008 - Weather report just in...

Would you believe they are calling for snow in Florida?  Well, actually only at our house.  And not until the first part of October.  Yes, there will be another little Floridasnowflake coming this fall.    (surprise all you real-life friend lurkers!!  You thought I was just in a bad mood - lol!)

If I am somewhat erractic over the next month with my blogging, stick with me -  I am quite ill.

It should pass in the next 8 weeks - uugghh.  But we are praising the Lord for this soon to be newest edition to our family.    With all of the big homeschooling families that we have in our aquaintence, it seems like the verses get used, used, and re-used, about children being a blessing.  It is true though, and the Lord is filling our quiver nice and full with many arrows to send out for Him.  It is just very humbling (ok, terrifying) to know who we are raising these children for and knowing how made of clay we are.  As our pastor often says, "these bags of dust and bones"  are so very fallible and the responsibility of raising children for God's glory is so great, it is just intimidating.  Thankfully, we aren't doing it alone.

Congratulations! Just what Florida needs...a few more "flakes." Ok, that was bad, but I just couldnt resist, lol! Hope the icky feeling passes quickly.
