Nov. 28, 2006 - An Alphabet of Lessons for Youth
A Wise son maketh a glad father, but a foolish son is the heaveness of his mother.
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Come unto Christ all ye people that labor and he will give you rest.
Donot the abominable thing which I hate saith the Lord.
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
GODLINESS is proitable unto all things, having the promise of life that now is, that which is to come.
HOLINESS becomes GOD's house forever.
It is good for me to draw near unto GOD.
Keep thy heard with diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
Liars shall have their part in the lake which burnes with fire and brimstone.
Many are the afflictions if the rightous, but the Lord delivereth them out of them all.
Now is the acceped time, now is the day of salvation.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly.
Quit you like men, be strong stand fast in the faith.
Remember thy Creater in the days of thy Youth.
Seest thou a man wife on his own conceit, there is more hope than of him.
Trust in God at all times, ye people, pour out your hearts before him.
Upon the wicked, God shall reign an horrible tempest.
Wo to the wicked, it shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
eXhort one another daily while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened thro' the deceitfulness of sin.
Young men ye have overcome the wicked one.
Zeal hath consumed me, because thy enimies have forgotten the word of God.
Nov. 27, 2006 - New Books!
My mom got these new new homeschooling books called"The new England Primer". In the front of these books they say that Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln used these books for school. They are pretty hard to read 'cause some of the words have "f" when they are supposed to be "s". Part of my homeschooling is to attempt to read these books and type
a few things out of them every once in awhile.
The Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord, which was concieved by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. He desended into hell. The third day he arose again from the dead, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father, Almighty. From thence he shall come to judge both the quick and the dead. I believe in the the forgiveness of sins, and the life everlasting. AMEN.
Nov. 17, 2006 - What our country needs...
What Our Country Needs :
What does our country need? Not armies standing with sabres gleaming ready for their fight; not increased navies, skillful and commanding, to bound the waters with iron might; not haughty men with glutted purses to purchase souls, and keep the powerof place; Not jewled dolls with one other vying.for psalms of beauty, elegance, and grace. But we want women strong of soul, yet lowly with that rare meekness, born of gentleness; The women who's lives are pure and clean and holy, the women whom all little children bless; Brave, earnest women, helpful to each other, with finest scorn for all things low and mean; woman who hold the names of wife and motherfar nobler than the title of a queen.

Nov. 17, 2006 - "Daughters of Destiny"
In chapter one of "Daughters of Destiny", a great book I am reading, it talks about Beautiful Womanhood, " A woman's worth is to be estimated by the real goodness of he heart, greatness of her soul, and the purity and sweetness of her character..." This means that a woman is to be beautiful on the inside and to be beautiful on the outside is just as well as long as you are not raving over yourself. Inward beauty will last forever.God made you beautiful. He made you in his image!
Proverbs 31:10-12
"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.. She will do him good and not harm all the days of her life."
