• Apr. 17, 2008 - Old Philosophy Pops Up Again...

Posted in Funny
Here's a very interesting study I found about an older philosophy that is popping up again and again in the average American's household... I found it very true, and we must correct people who believe in this false philosophy... or their grammar...

Oh yes, this is not one of those forwards that I scraped from the middle of that long email road... no, someone did not send this to me. I found it by my self.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 'Michael's Third Regiment' Theory
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In our lives, across America, mostly, many people are falling under a false philosophy that has popped up again and again in our current age. Many young people are being pulled into it, many without even knowing it. This philosophy is known as the 'Michael's Third Regiment' Theory.

-----------------------

The Michael's Third Regiment Theory states that Jesus did not die on the cross, as is said in the Bible, but that he died in the position of the Lord's Army, while riding on the donkey into Jerusalem, supposedly to start a battle.

-----------------------

This is not a new theory, and it actually dates back to the eighteen-hundreds. Some of the greatest Christian Scholars themselves, like George Bennard, William R. Newell, and even Walter G. Taylor believed in this false philosophy, and it shows through all of their works. For example; in the song by Mr. George Bennnard, it states that:

For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above to bear it to dark Cavalry.

And again, Bill Newell also threw some of this philosophy into his works. For example:

Knowing not it was for me He died on Cavalry.

And lastly, Walter Taylor threw some of the theory into her works. Example:

My guilt and despair Jesus took on Him there...  And Cavalry covers it all.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even Sunday school teachers of Christian, Baptist, even Methodist churches all alike tell their students that Jesus died for them on [the] Cavalry.

Even my Mother tells my younger sisters and brothers that Jesus died for them on Cavalry.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's very sad today that Americans believe this false theory, that Jesus himself died on the his donkey, in God's Cavalry. We as Christians, or at least as grammar freaks, should tell people that Jesus did not die on Cavalry, but that indeed, he suffered on Calvary for our sins.

---------------------------------------

Please take care that you don't tell people that Jesus died on Cavalry. Instead, tell them the truth, not only about Jesus, and where he died, but also tell them about grammar, and how important grammar is vital to the American Language.

Please, tell everyone about this. Help our country's grammar.

My grandma was pentecostal/holiness

Tis funny that you say “faith” and not religion or denomination LOL

I don’t know what I believe… or if I believe anything.

Oh, wow, that is absolutely hilarious! Cavalry... ha! Grammer is important to everyone, especially Christians, it seems! You find the best things to post about, Nick!

Good, I'm glad you can read my blog now! If only I could fix it so the background shows up too...

Yeah, me neither. I wish my library had more Calvin and Hobbes.

That Idol Gives Back post is dead on. We didn't even watch the whole thing.

Are you sure those people (George Bennard and the others) weren't just talking about Jesus dying on the hill of Cavalry?

For me there isn't much of a difference if the legos are old, classical ones or whichever, I just like the Star Wars ones in general.

Alright!
I wonder how many theory-believers (And-or People Who Have No Idea How Bad There Grammar Is) will listen to you.
I'm guessing quite a few (On the Theory-believers. I've tried helping The Non-Grammar People. Doesn't hold results).
All three.
Thankfully I don't live in southern Illinois.
How hard did it hit you?
We just got a few shakes, here or there.
As for the ghost;
I wasn't kidding.
Freakishly enough (Freakishly.... Fun to spell),
I did see something in my room that might have been a spirit.
I said might.

Thanks for the advice! Really, the idea of publishing has never seriously entered my mind. I love writing, but so far only for my own pleasure. (and school.) And if I did write a book, I would like it to be something a bit more relevant than fantasy. Not that fantasy isn't awesome, it's just that our culture needs more than that, it seems to me. But if this story ever develops into something big, then I will probably stop posting it. Thanks again! ;-)->--< Look! A stick person smilie! Now I'm going to be making those all over HSB... :-D->--<

Adieu-

Well... for making my templates the only things that I use is a online-color wheel and photobucket for designs, and if I can't find any.. then I find a whole bunch of icons that I think describe me and use Paint!
Do you make your own templates?
