Chicken Soup for the Mortal Soul

• Apr. 26, 2008 - Artistic Flops

Posted in Funny
Hello, my viewers who love me... :-)

Well, the title says it all. I like to think of myself as an artist. I specialize in knights, Orcs, aliens, and all those other cool things. But not people.

Just the other day, I attempted to draw a picture of the first ten presidents. They ended up looking like zombies. Thus the name of the picture:

After this horrible flopped attempt at drawing our presidents, I attempted to draw something that I'm better at, Orcs.

And those are my artistic works. You can laugh at the Presidential one, I know it's not very good... :-)

First comment!!!

Nice orcs. ;-) I can draw bodies, but not faces. So when I draw people, they always have to be facing away, else I shall ruin them. The other week I was terribly bored, so I started trying to draw Gandalf. His cloak and hat were great, but his face which was turned, made him look like a Chinese priest! *gasp*
I like to draw landscapes best. They always turn out pretty well.

Thank you for your comment on my story; it was very encouraging. I think after I get further along in the story, I'll come back and re-write the beginning! But you're right, endings are usually more crucial. I haven't read the book you mentioned; who is it by?

Thanks for urging me to keep on! You, too, persevere in you endeavors to draw presidents!

well.....i always wanted David Archuleta to win (and still do)! For the girls i just wanted Kristy Lee Cook to get pretty far! (like were she made it in the competition!) I knew that she never was going to win, and that she was going to get elimnated eventually, but i still liked her because she was Country! LOL!

But know, i all the way want David Archuleta to win! Who do you want to win?

P.S. Nice pics! I could never draw that well! LOL!

Yeah, you're probably right. What did you think of the whole Andrew Lloyd Webber thing? I thought it was pretty cool that they would do that. It sort of sorts the sort of good from the fabulous because to be a good singer you have to be able to sing anything.
My fave is David Cook!

Okay, here are all my answers in order:
Christian (Oh, I forgot to tell you! Today I did a sermon at my church! I think I'll do an entry on it....)
Angels- Yes, Demons- I don't really know.......
A blue-ish form....I may have been dreaming it.
Both my sisters (I have two.) and
the lady who owned the house before us.
Now explain.
I'm riddled with curiosity.

No, that answers YOUR questions.
Sorry, couldn't help that play on words.
Okay, I just wanted to clarify a few things.

1. After I saw Would Be Ghost,
the woman who owned the house before us came into town.
My mom told her about the "Ghost"
and she said she had heard and seen some things, too.

2. Plagued by an evil spirit... I don't think our house is
plague by evil or otherwise. Still I love the way you worded
that. Worded.... That's a funny word. Say it out loud. See?
It's one of the words that when you say them fast enough,
No one know what you're saying anymore.

3. Here's what I think:
I was dreaming the blue orb-thing, My sisters, upon hearing that what I "saw", "saw" something, too.
And most of the "haunting" were objects moving,
Cue the after-shocks.
That's me being logical.
Oh, and why did you need to know what the ghost looked like?

~Outloud (Or Jacqueline. I've been trying to decide how to sign
(Write, whatever) my name. Hmmmmm.... Outloud.....Jacqueline.....)

Yeah. Do you like Sayesha at all? She has a good voice and did really well on the Andrew Lloyd Webber week. I don't know, maybe I'm prejudiced, but I think that if you're really good, you can sing all sorts of styles.
Poor Brooke! Did you watch last night?!
