Chicken Soup for the Mortal Soul

Since in the past, I've specified my rule for friends, I will now attempt to post my ideas and thoughts on comments, what I think about them, and such things like that.

Please bear with me, as this won't be funny. But hey, it won't be gloomy, either!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, first things first. What do I believe a comment is?

I believe that a comment can be a couple things. I think that first, it can be a way to tell someone you acknowledged that they did a post, and that their blog is actually being read.

It also can stand as a way to state your opinion on what someone posted on, whether good or bad.

It also (and this is mostly what I use it for) can be used to start/continue a conversation or a debate with someone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall, in my opinion, a comment is something that someone leaves on a blog, showing that they read your blog.

---------------------------------------------------

Next question, when will I comment?

Normally, I will comment after someone has commented on my blog. If you never comment on my blog, the less of a chance I will comment on yours. I do not do this to be mean or vengeful, I just do that, because I don't have alot to talk with you, if you never comment.

---------------------------------------------------

Another question, what is my opinion on comments?

I love comments! I love getting them, because it shows that people appreciate my efforts at blogging, and I love giving them too! I love being able to encourage new bloggers with too few comments, and commenting on bloggers who have way too many, to help them get more!

-----------------------------------------------------

If I could apply a saying to my belief on comments, what would it be?

Probably, it would be: No post should go without a comment. And that pretty much sums up my belief. If there is one thing that really makes me sad, is seeing a blog post without comments. I know what it's like to work hard on a post and get no comments. It stinks.

-------------------------------------------------------

What is your view on RSS Feeders?

My view on RSS feeders is that they don't really help a blogger. They might help a viewer, but certainly not the blogger. I mean... an RSS Feeder causes people to quickly read a post, without commenting. That's why alot of people experience big '0s' on their comment area for a post.

What do I think about RSS? I don't like it. But that doesn't mean I don't like the people who use them!

--------------------------------------------------

To sum it all up, I will always comment on people's blog. Before the year is done, I want to have written a thousand comments, to show people how much I appreciate them!

If you've taken the time to read this, please comment, and tell me what you think.

Yeah! He's right! So come and leave me lots of comments!

Having said that, I DO use an RSS reader. In fact, I DID read this on my RSS reader AND I DID leave a comment!

Maybe you should change your copyright from "works" to "ideas". I never get my works copied. Just my ideas

Probably.
(Hmph.)
I feel that abortion,
well, (How shall I word this?)
If a mother is going to give her baby away to an orphanage,
(Adding to the 210 million orphans worldwide)
that's her choice.
It's also her choice to have an abortion.
(Also, you would be dead right now without tree's.)

I'm a little embarrassed right now.
You completely trashed my "Candy date",
and I haven't said a word against yours.
Lets fix that.
One reason I wouldn't vote for him (If I could)
is that he is too wishy-washy for me.
Demonstrating my statement
an article from the washington post:

The headlines coming out of the speech are over what McCain said about withdrawing U.S. forces from Iraq. By early 2013, he said, America will have "welcomed home most of the servicemen and women" from that conflict. This is from a candidate who began his campaign as the leading advocate of sending more troops to Iraq and who helped resuscitate his flagging candidacy with a "No Surrender" tour last fall.

Then there's the whole
"I'm a Democrat!" "No, now I'm Republican!"
thing.
Also,
There's the thing with his wives.
Also, He's 74!
The average life expectancy in america is 77.6 years.
Meaning:
He would die before the end of his term.
Also, in the late sixties,
He made an anti-American confession,
his wife's father owns (or owned) a beer company,
and he left his first wife because she was disfigured
by a car accident to marry his current wife,
who is twenty years younger then him.

Okay, debate aside,
I had an idea and would like your thoughts on it:
What if we made a debate blog for homeschooled kids
on HSB?

Joe did not attend the actual tea party, but he and my other brothers helped set up and left and then took down (tables and chairs)

Okay, touche.
But just on his abortion views.
That's the thing with debating,
sometimes you get a subject you don't support.
Have you ever heard of the video "Six degree's could change the world." by National Geographic?
You can watch it on itunes (If you have that.) or
on youtube (If you must, I don't favor that website).
It explains why I'm for Obama.

Alright,
debating is fun,
and we've gotten exceedingly angry at each others views
(I'm may be speaking for myself,
but I took you're last reply as......indignant).
I don't know if you were in an angry haze,
or you didn't care for the idea,
and were too polite to say so,
but what do you think?
A debate blog?
I would need you're help,
(A Republican's view, if you like),
to get the debating started.
If you noticed,
there are no blogs like that on this website.

(Excuse the lighter note of this comment,
I thought it would be more.....(I don't know wether I should put
"Welcomed" or "Appropriate")...)

(I'm starting to think you're editing all your comments just to bother me, by the way.)

You're right. I suppose, though, that you want David Archuleta to win now? I guess we're divided there. I want David Cook to win. But you know, it's not like there's a really bad one and a really good one. They are both very good singers. :)
