Last Friday we went on our first science excursion to a Mini Beast workshop all about, mini beasts. We covered Amphibians, Crustaceans, Arachnids, Insects and Myriapods (centipedes, millipededes). First we watched a slide-show, with commentary from a scientist and then the children viewed some of these little beasts in small, glass tanks; they even got to use the microscopes. Jordan here. The butterfly's wings were an amazing site when magnified. The detail is so intricate you just can't imagine it could have just happened; there had to be a designer behind it all.
Daniel needed help looking into the microscope.
