Round One

University Offers

First round offers for University came out last night and our daughter, Karli, has a place to study Nursing. The following year, Lord willing, she will swap over to the Bachelor of Midwifery. We are all excited, but I am also relieved, because we have always been quite flexible and casual in our homeschool. At times I have worried we were behind in our studies, but this has helped me to realise, at least for our family, the early years don’t need to be stressful when a child just can’t ‘get it.’ When the child is old enough, they are more able to grasp concepts previously foreign to them.

So, for all the younger mothers out there, relax.

Congratulatuions, Karli! Exciting times ahead. And well done, John and Amanda It must be great to see that all the hard work with school work (and not so hard work, as you suggest!) has paid off.

That's fantastic, Amanda and John (and Karli!)
And a big encouragement to us since we are also a bit laid-back about our schooling...
God bless your university journey, Karli, and make you a blessing to many as you step into this exciting time,
love
Anya
