100 Things About Me…the good, the bad and everything else…

1.  I was born in AZ

2.  I have lived in 7 states since I graduated from high school

3.  I graduated high school in 1990

4.  I wore my hair purple once, on purpose

5.  I gave my life to Christ when I was 13 on August 8, 1985

6.  My mom died August 17, 1985, she was 32

7.  Two of my children are step-children and the little one is mine w/my hubby

8.  I love to take pictures and dream of being a great photographer

9.  I love to scrapbook but rarely do it anymore

10.  My husband literally walked up to my front door when we met

11.  I was once a travel agent

12.  My parents considered naming me Sunshine but went with Tiffany instead 

13.  I would love to have 3 or more children

14.  I knew I was going to homeschool before I had children after reading a book called The Lifestyles of Christian Women when I was 19

15.  I have never, in 10 years of marriage, beaten my husband at Scrabble.

16.  I hate to fly

17.  I will not swim in natural water (lakes, oceans, etc.) give me a cement bottom please

18.  I voted for Bush, twice!

19.  My favorite colors are red and yellow

20.  I only went to college for one semester

21.  I gave up a trip to Europe so I could buy a new car – I was 18 ~~~~

22.  My husband and I considered getting married in Las Vegas

23.  My knee caps slip out on both of my legs

24.  I had surgery on my knees when I was 12…it didn't work

25.  One of my grandmothers died of breast cancer

26.  I walked 60 miles in 3 days this June in the Breast Cancer 3 Day

27.  I came from a family with a mother who was Jewish and a Baptist Father

28.  I went to temple before I started attending church

29.  I took 4 years of Spanish and can only ask you where the bathroom is

30.  I can't stand the heat and winter is my favorite season

31.  Easter is my favorite holiday – hold the bunnies and the jelly beans

32.  I wanted to be an actress until I was about 19

33.  I had an audition with Julliard that I didn't go to

34.  I had my daughter by c-section

35.  I am 7 years older than my only sibling…my baby brother

36.  I have a baby brother in Heaven who was still born

37.  I cry when I hear patriotic songs

38.  I can be very impatient

39.  I tend to be the one in charge – they call me a natural born leader

40.  My kid's least favorite thing to hear “I never said my job was to make things fair”

41.  My husband usually calls me Tiff

42.  If my husband had been a girl his parents were going to name him Tiffany

43.  I love old TV shows

44.  I was a Duran Duran fan in middle school

45.  I drive a silver chrysler minivan

46.  I dream of owning a huge suv…

47.  My first car was a BMW – don't get too excited; it had no a/c (remember I'm from AZ), stuffing coming out of the seats and NO RADIO

48.  I hate shopping…if you want to torture me take me to the mall to “walk around”

49.  I miss Arizona's mountains

50.  I love to jump out and scare my hubby and kids…they don't so much love it

51.  I love to play board and card games

52.  If I laugh hard enough I will snort

53.  I actually love my in-laws

55.  I am the only living woman on my mom's side of the family:  I have a father, 4 uncles, a grandfather and a brother.

57.  Flying bugs scare me to death

66.  I have tried many many many home businesses – Mary Kay(2x), Avon(2x), Petra, Creative Memories, Melaluca, baby slings, mystery shopping.  YIKES

67.  I love Chili's chips and queso

68.  I have a diet pepsi every day

69.  I talk to my dogs like they are babies – they love it

70.  I want to publish a Christian romance novel

71.  I used to make my brother cry when we played monopoly because I would sing “I'm in the money”  He still gets annoyed at that

72.  I wish my brother lived next door and not states away

73.  My brother sends me mother's day cards (he was 6 when my mom died)

74.  I moved in with my grandmother when I was 15

75.  I am very competitive, even when I'm trying not to be

76.  My husband brings me chocolate instead of flowers…he knows me very well.

77.  My hubby is my best friend.

78.  No one makes me laugh like my husband does

79.  All 3 of my children are saved – Thank You Jesus!

80.  I only shave my legs to the knee most of the time

84.  I watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition every week and blubber

85.  I love romance novels that take place in the old west – I prefer Christian romance

86.  The last book I read was Francine Rivers' Redeeming Love – it was awesome

87.  I have read all the Harry Potter books but my kids haven't

88.  I wish I was better at keeping my house organized

89.  I am a pack-rat

90.  I cry at sappy commercials

91.  I have naturally wavy/curly hair

92.  I wore my hair red from high school until recently…I'm naturally dark blonde. 

93.  Most of my friends thought that I was naturally a redhead

94.  I love Mexican food

95.  I played the saxophone for 3 years in elementary school

96.  I was a girl scout

97.  I rode a donkey down the Grand Canyon when I was 12

98.  I burp louder than my husband…I'm not proud of it, its just a fact

99.  I wonder why everyone doesn't homeschool

100.  I am thankful everyday that God loves me
