Yes, there is something magical about it. The other neat thing is the wonder in your children's eyes as they watch it fall-especially if they're little and this is their first time seeing it.
I agree. It is beautiful.
I am just glad I do not live in a place where seeing a snowplow drive down the street is commonplace.
I do wish it snowed here a lot more... but instead we have rain.
I know what you mean about having a hard time doing nature stuff in the winter time :) My blog was completely inactive for about 2 weeks just before the last 2 posts because I had no idea what to write about *grin* What about different scenes of winter? Do you have an ice forest of grass or bushes totally coated in ice or different berries that thrive in the winter months near you? Today I used my bouquet of flowers and did a post on them with a link to a time lapse video of an amaryllis blooming :) What about documenting which birds are eating at your feeder? Hmmm, does that help any *grin*
Have a wonderful evening,
Rosina
Welcome to my happy little place to learn about the study of nature and all things beautiful. This is my personal nature journal, where I hope to record my fledgling journey as a naturalist and my appreciation for the Master Gardener's creation. I will also display some of my favorite paintings and list some of my favorite living books and quotes. I hope you will enjoy your visit.

(I just wish our snow wouldn't have happened on a week when DH is traveling and I have to do all of the shoveling!) :-P
