How is everyone doing?
I'm not doing extremely good,
I'm actually kind of depressed.
I don't feel quite at home in my new town,
and by not feeling 'in place' here, my
faith is also being tested because of my
condition. Prayers are needed.
On the sunny side, I've had a little bit more
time to do the things I enjoy.
I've been painting, reading, walking, writing songs,
taking pictures, watching good shows....
those aren't exactly great substitutes for my
friends, and my home.... but I'm making due.
I'm going to try to keep in touch with my friends on here
again, post pictures, and some lyrics to some songs
I've been writing, hope I caught your attention!

Yesterday, my Papa finally died. My sister was with him when he died, she said that right before he left for heaven, he opened his eyes a little, and let one tear ride down his cheek. The Hospice Nurse, that was there talking with Me and My Family, told us that he was probably looking up seeing heaven's gates open up for him. • 9 Comments

Hey there! It's been a long time since I've posted an actual entry.
Well, not a whole lot has been going on since I've talked to you all last, but we are getting a house! It's really pretty! It's yellow, (In the word's of my sister..) "It looks like a Doll house!!"
My Mom and Dad feel like God wants us to get this house, and I am so excited!! I really just want to get in some place so I can have my own space, and I can go back to my ... 'hometown'? For a visit... anyways, this house is 100 years old, built in 1906, If you have watched a whole lot of scary movies with old houses, with supposedly 'Ghosts', this would creep you out. I however, have seen a bunch of scary movies with old houses, and ghosts, and everything related, so, that is my one disadvantage for living in this house! 
Well, I want to play soccer this year. I was going to play here, with the local homeschooling group, but since we are moving an hour and a half away, that is most likely... not going to happen. I haven't played soccer since I was 8, I remember how fun it was, but I'm nervous about playing again, because I'm going to look like the clueless freak out on the field. Oh well, sacrifices must be made for the things you .. umm.. umm.. umm.. want to pursue?
I've been sketching more than ever since a few weeks ago, it's probably because I lack so much entertainment because I am not involved in anything right now, Sketching is where i get my inspiration, and entertainment.
I have been trying to get my quiet time straight, and more active. I haven't been paying much attention to God since we left West Virginia. I don't know why, I just haven't. But that is going to be one of my biggest goals to achieve, once we get into a house, to focus on God, with all of my Intentions.

My Papa, wanted to go to Heaven, I think that I could tell that he couldn't stand being here, unless he was able to do things on his own. He got frustrated all the time from not being able to say a word, or a sentence.
My cousin Adrienne, is very, very, sad. Dad said that since she was the first grandchild, it is especially hard for her. Last Month, Adrienne's son Ashton, died from being born only 23 weeks into Adrienne's pregnancy. I think she is pretty jealous of Papa, because he's up in heaven with Ashton just rocking him in his arms.
Yesterday, I said, "I wonder what Papa is doing right now." Memaw said, "He's probably looking down at me saying, Myrtice, why haven't you combed your hair today?" We were all laughing, trying to cheer ourselves up. 
Kendra said, that it was really hard for my Memaw to see them take Papa away on the stretcher, My Dad was walking with him all the way to the car.
I'm glad that Papa is up there, being able to do whatever he wants, in the presence of Jesus, his parents, (They were hit by an 18 wheeler.) and Baby Ashton, being able to say every word, and every sentence clearly. I can't wait to see My Papa run to me when I die one day, it'll be the most greatest day of my life.
I love you Papa, Rest In Peace, I'm going to miss you very, very, much. XOXO

Sam, thought I said something to him, while I was in the pool. So, he rushed over to me, took off his hat, and said, "Ma'am?" I thought that was so cute, I mean, even little boys respect ladies.. aww...
We still don't have very many friends, we haven't seen the friends we made for a while, since they are all at Summer Camp. 
I've been praying that God will send us some, I don't want to be
friendless all summer long.. Kendra, and I, however, have been keeping each other company. So at least we have each other to talk to.
We have been seeing so many movies lately, it's NOT funny. Look at them!

The road trip here was LONG... 3 days long.. I think we're all sick of fast food now..
We're in an apartment, it's way better than all those hotels! All of us crammed in a small hotel room... not fun.
Tonight, Kendra and I are trying out a 'new' youth group. Our first one in Texas. I hope it goes well. Okay, if any of you guys come down to Texas, don't forget Sunblock, and a fan, it is SOO hot down here! We've only made one friend, she's a sweet 5 year old, named Kaitlyn. She is so cute, she's always coming to see if we can 'play.'
I can't wait to just get settled, so we can just get all this over with.. and we can find some friends within our area. It's getting lonely, and boring, I want my friends. I mean, there's always the phone, but it's not the same, besides I hate the phone.
