My dear sweet hubby, Ron, and I have been married for 20+ years. We began dating during my freshman year at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville. He is my college sweetheart. We have ministered together in various ministries during our lives together. We pastored for 10 years in Florida. We moved to TN in 2000 to Co-Pastor with some friends of ours. The Lord has given me a fabulous provider whom I love more than any words I write could ever express. He is now the CEO at our denomination's publishing company, Randall House Publications. I am honored to support him.
Our oldest child is named Michael. He is now officially a teenager, although I don't think I'm old enough to have a teenager. He is a very sweet and considerate young man. He is my thinker and my reader. He absorbs every piece of new information that he comes across. He loves playing soccer, riding his bike, skateboarding, reading, watching the History Channel, the Military Channel, ESPN and any documentary on TV. I am privileged to be his Mother.
Lauren is our youngest child. She is just 15 months behind her brother in age. She is wise beyond her years. She has a sharp-witted tongue (which sometimes has to be tamed), a quick sense of humor and a heart for people and animals. She loves organizing anything and everything. She loves being with her friends, singing, talking on her cell phone and playing soccer. I am blessed to be her Mother.
Just the knowledge that a good book is awaiting one at the end of a long day makes that day happier.

Tomorrow Ron is going out of town. No surprise there, right? Except this time I GET TO GO WITH HIM!!! Woo Hoo I"m thrilled. That doesn't happen very often.
We are going to Maryland. We have a college friend who pastors up there. He is going to a meeting on Saturday and then will be preaching at our friend's church on Sunday morning. They aren't very far from Washington DC so we will do some sightseeing too. We have already done the whole Washington vacation but there are a couple of things we wanted to spend more time doing when we were there before. I want to go to a couple of the Smithsonian Museums again. We only got about an hour at the Air & Space Museum. So, if we don't go there tomorrow afternoon/evening we will probably go Sunday afternoon.
The kids are staying the weekend with our best friends, Brian & Kim. Only a best friend would agree to keep two additional children on a weekend as crazy busy as theirs will be. I hope that things will go smoothly.
I'm hoping I can remember to take the camera this weekend so I will have pictures to share when we get back on Monday. It's laying on the table. I've thought about it about 700 times while I've been sitting here. Knowing me I will walk out the door in the morning without grabbing it. I need to tie a string around my finger. Of course, then I would forget why the string is there. I wonder how many times that has happened.
Oh well - gibber jabber!! Hopefully I will get to update on the weekend. Have a good one!!!
