Last Sunday during Bible study we were talking about Pre-A- and Post Mellennial.  I would fall into the A-Mellennium camp.  I borrowed a book that the class leader made some quotes from because I was just floored at some of the beliefs about Pre-mellenialism. 

So… that leads me to this question and comment. 

If Jesus is going to set up a literal 1000 year reign, why did he speak in the gospels of not coming to set up an earthly kindgom?  We know that we are aliens in a foreign land– why would it somehow be made an unforeign land?
