Well, two meals down now. Today we had chicken (rabbit) pot pie. It wasn't only my first rabbit pot pie, but my first homemade pot pie ever. I was very proud of myself. My oldest helped me make the crust, I did the middle, rolled the crust and put it together.

If, by chance, your family decides to do rabbit too. I have found that roasting them in the oven and then taking all the meat off is easiest. And, it's even easier if you let it cool first and then take it off. So, unless I hear of some other successful way, that's how I'm going to continue doing it.

Everyone liked it and everyone ate all that was on their plate, so another rabbit meal down. I think the girls and I all still have to just think chicken and eat it. The flavor is fine, it's the whole idea of it. But, I liked it and if for no other reason than to bless my husband, I will continue to fix it as it is available in the freezer.
