A Homemade Christmas – Wooden JOY Plaques
This is another "A Homemade Christmas" post for this week.
I hope you enjoy it!
What I’m sharing today, is a craft that my mom & I created together. I am very pleased with the outcome of the project!
What we used:
3 small blocks of wood ::: bases for the stands
1 dow rod ::: cut into 3 pieces
3 larger blocks of wood ::: the plaques (where the letters are mounted onto)
red & white acrylic paints ::: to cover all the wooden pieces
scrapbook paper ::: decoupaged onto plaques
wooden J-O-Y letters ::: glued onto plaques
The finished project now resides on our fireplace mantle, in the midst of the wonderful Christmas garland.

May every room hold laughter and
every window open to great possibility."
