Jul. 30, 2008 - Birthday Surprise~Couldn't wipe the grin off her sweet little face~
Belle's birthday was today. Daddy and I surprised her with a few hours at a local ranch near the house. I took pictures and stayed around until they returned.
Jo is a natural born rural gal - was born this way - that's the only explanation. She wasn't raised around chickens or horses, but has a natural inclination towards both! The day we brought the chickens home she scooped them up in her arms with no hesitation. And today, was very at home atop this gentle giant.
If Dad looks like an old-pro... it's because he is. It's just been a long while since he's ridden.
My favorite part was when she came around the corner and realized where we were and WHAT we were doing! It's the first picture with the big beautiful grin. That grin stayed on her face the entire time. Even the guide said she saw her smiling face every time she turned to look at her.
