Aug. 27, 2008 - ~Our first attempt at Peanut Brittle~
While watching a recent episode of The Waltons, my husband made the mistake of rolling his eyes in a look of joyful remembrance while saying: "I LOVE Peanut Brittle!". I had no idea!!!
In this particular episode, the Walton family was cooking up delicious Old Fashioned Candies to raise money for a family in their community. Side note: If you haven't seen the Waltons you might want to check in to the series for your family's movie nights. You can purchase the series anywhere from ebay to Amazon and if you have a Netflix rental, they are there as well.
So here's our first attempt at Peanut Brittle. This was a delicious recipe for a thick and airy peanut brittle, and although my husband loves the flavor of this recipe, the peanut brittle he's most fond of is half as thick, and twice as brittle. More than likely I'll have another picture uploaded soon. 
Can't have that man of mine thinking he can get better Brittle someplace else - can I?
