My Little Man's Arm
Last week my daughter and I were in the car listening to our
Grammar Songs CD.
"I'm running, jumping, singing -
that's because I am a verb.
I'm hopping, dancing, ringing -
that's because I am a verb.
I'm coming, going, hitting, throwing -
humming, rowing, sitting, blowing, riding, hiding, gliding, sliding - because I'm a verb.
I'm a verb, verb, verb-
I'm an action word. So put me where the action is 'cause I'm an action word."
So all of the sudden my daughter says "Wow Mom, I just hate to see how my little brother is suffering with his
hurt arm. I mean usually the kids is a verb and lately he hasn't been one at all!"
LOL
I have had a lot of people asking how my little man's arm is doing. The good news is he seems to be healing up nicely after 2 weeks! He is still a little careful of it and if it gets hit or twisted he still has a little pain. But, for the most part he is back to normal. In other words, 2 weeks later he is back to being a verb!

LOL, that is hilarious! My ds 11 is a verb, too, and currently has a broken finger. This has somewhat hindered his verb tendencies. :o)
But not too much! Aren't all boys verbs!?! LOL again.

One thing that stood out to me in a book I read recently is that God is a Verb too! It really made me think about myself, as I think I've become more of a noun than a verb. Your post reminded me of that . . . thank you.

I was so busy at the time, I forgot to tell you. My 11 yr old broke his wrist almost at the same time. We have 2 weeks to go to. But, he is definitely a verb! Thanks for all you do!
