Armenian Lapbook
Posted in Lapbooks
My 13 year old son recently finished a lapbook on Armenia. Why would he choose to do a study on Armenia? (I mean honestly, who has even heard of Armenia? LOL) My children are one fourth Armenian! My Mother-In-Law was full Armenian. So even though I had never heard of Armenia before I met my husband, our whole family has become fascinated with Armenia over the years.
Here is the cover.
We used a picture we found online for the cover. This was described as a typical landscape in Armenia.
Folder 1
There are so many booklets in this lapbook I won't try to tell you what he put in each one. I'll just feature a few.
Religion: Christianity is the religion of 98% of Armenia. It was the first Christian Country. The Armenian church began in 301 AD, the church created then is still around today.
Famous Person: Ross Bagdasarian Sr., aka Dave Seville creator of Alvin and The Chipmunks was Armenia. He was born in 1919. As David Seville he released "Witch Doctor". Soon after he released "The Chipmunk Song" which won him 2 Grammy Awards. He also had small parts in several films and was the voice for Dave in the 1961 The Alvin Show . He died of a heart attack in 1972, just days before his 53rd birthday.
Wedding Traditions: When a man and woman are "promised" to each other the man's family asks the girl's family. Then the man give the girl a promise ring. The girl's family has a BIG party that they pay for. At the party a priest prays and blesses the groom and bride, then they slide wedding bands on each others hands. About a year later they are wed.
Holiday Traditions: At Christmas you start cleaning your home about a week in advance. The a priest comes and blesses your home. Seeds are planted on cotton balls to grow sprouts. No animal products are eaten by anyone the week before Christmas. Fruits are hung on the tree as well as other ornaments.
Folder 2
History: Armenia and it's people are rich in History. It was the first Christian Country, it became such in 301 AD, the church created then is still around today. It was seized by Russia and Persia in the early 1900's. A genocide was led against them by what is now Turkey. Over one million Armenia's were killed in a bloody mass murder. The Soviet Union took over Armenia in1936 and it remained part of Russia until 1991.
Folder 3

Fun Fact: Mt. Ararat, the mountain we believe Noah's Ark landed on is the the original Armenian Homeland.
Government: The government of Armenia is a Republic. It is similar to a Democracy. The people elect a President. but they don't vote on laws.
Fun Fact: Princess Diana was 1/64th Armenian!
WOW! Around a 3rd of the population of live in the Capital City of Yerevan.
We filled in empty spaces with pictures of Armenia we found online.
To the left is traditional Armanian garb. On the top right side is the river that runs through Yerevan. The bottom is a pictue of Mt. Ararat.
When I asked my son if he learned anything by doing this lapbook he said "Yeah Mom, I learned a ton. I mean I didn't even know about Yerevan before I did this!"
All of these booklets were part of the FREE Chose-A-Country lapbook from homeschoolshare.com. You will find the FREE printables HERE.

Resurrection Eggs Lapbook
Posted in Lapbooks
First off I must confess that I completely borrowed this idea from Michelle at SeekingJESUSTeaching KIDS. THANK YOU for the GREAT idea Michelle! We had A LOT of fun reading this together after we got it made!
Cover:
Here is the link to the cover picture we used. The Bible verses on the right side are part of the printables (below) for the items to put inside.
HERE is the link to the printables for the Eggs we used. (Print 2 so you will have 12 of the BIG eggs.) 12 eggs is a lot to color, so I helped. I kind of like coloring so this was fun for me! LOL
Inside the Eggs
Inside each egg we have the little picture of the items and a little explanation I wrote up. I tried to tell the story at a young child's level. So I didn't quote exactly from the Bible.
HERE are the printables with each of the items to tell the story we used inside.
Back
On the back we made a pocket to hold the mini books we made. Here are the links to the mini books:
Salvation mini book
Old and New Testament mini books (We only used the New Testament one.)
Directions for folding the above mini books.
Life of Jesus mini book
Here is what we put inside the eggs to tell the Story. (You will have to copy this to a Word doc and resize to make them fit in the eggs if you want to use it.)
Branches When Jesus entered Jerusalem to celebrate Passover the people spread palm branches on the ground for His donkey to walk on. They believed He had come to save them from the bad rulers of their Country.
30 Soon after He arrived in Jerusalem Judas Iscariot, one of his friends agreed to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver!
Bread The disciples joined Jesus to have their Passover meal. While they were eating He took the bread and told them “This is my body which is broken for you.”
Praying Hands They came to a place named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here until I have prayed." Jesus knew that He was going to go through a very rough time and He wanted to spend time with His Heavenly Father preparing.
Whip While He was praying the time came when Judas betrayed Him! Jesus was arrested and beaten with a whip.
Crown of Thorns They were very mean to Jesus and they made fun of Him by twisting a crown of thorns, they put it on Him. They called Him “The King of the Jews”
Nails After they made him carry His own cross up the hill they nailed him to the cross and left Him there until He died.
Dice The guards gambled with dice to see who would win Jesus clothes.
Spear To make sure that He was dead they poked Him in the side with a spear. Clear liquid came out and they knew that He was dead.
Cloth When He was wrapped in burial cloth and laid in a burial tomb. A large stone was rolled over the opening to close the door.
Stone 3 days later 2 women came to the tomb. Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large.
EMPTY!!! The tomb was empty!!! Jesus was not dead! An angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said He would”. He had come to save the people just as he said he would. Not from bad rulers, but from sin.

Goodnight Moon Lapbook
Posted in Lapbooks
Goodnight Moon is without a doubt my favorite children's book. I have loved it since forever! I am sure it must have been read to me as a child since I cannot recall ever not loving this book. (It was published in 1947, so it was even an "old" book when I was little! LOL) My kids love Good night Moon too. So when I found a FREE Goodnight Moon Lapbook over at homeschoolshare.com I was HAPPY! My 4 year old completed it yesterday. with a little help from his sister. (She really wanted to be involved in this one even though it was way simple for her at 7.)
Cover:
Each of the items we glued to the cover are things that are in the child's room in Goodnight Moon. The items before the 2 red dots are all items he says goodnight to (In the order mentioned in the book starting with "room" at the top.) The items after the red dots are items that are in the room but did not get mentioned. My kids were amazed to find out there is a giraffe and a elephant in the room. We had never noticed that before! (They are stuffed animals on the bookshelf.)
Here is the center of the lapbook:
There was a lot of good learning to go along with this! We started working on memorizing our phone number. (Well, Mom's cellphone number since that is the only number we use.) We talked about left and right, cut out pictures and learned the rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle", talked about the phases of the moon, colored balloons, learned about things that are circles and even included a Bible verse. Psalms 143:8 Praise Him, sun and moon, Praise Him, all stars of light!
Inside under middle flap:
The top one is a booklet of things that start with M. (My 4 year olds FAVORITE letter!) Moon, milk, mail and monkey. He was very happy he got to make 4 M's! The Three Bears envelope holds pictures that help you tell the story. My 7 year old LOVES them. She has made up senveral new versions of the story with the cards. (These could also be printed on card stock to make a felt board story.)
This is the back part of the flap:
The clock was fun to use for counting and number recognition. The little house we didn't do much with. It is about rhyming words and my four year old is just not quite ready for that yet.
Back of Lapbook:
This is a activity guide that was linked to the free lapbook. There are some good ideas to do with a little older kids. I thought if we put it on the back of the lapbook I would be able to find it again when I want it. LOL
If you would like to make your own Goodnight Moon Lapbook you will find the free printables HERE.

He did this himself?!?

I thought this was a VERY good question so I would answer in a post. I am sure there are others who wonder the same thing.
Feb. 7, 2008 - He did this himself?!?
Posted by Anonymous (75.100.34.181)
I love all your postings about lapbooks, but I have a question for you. How does it really work out? I mean, do you do all the cutting out, most of the putting together, while the kids color a few things (as happened with my family's brief foray into lapbooking), or do they really do it themselves?? Maybe this is a duh question for those of you who do lots of this, but I have yet to figure out a way to do these, tho they look so fun, w/o doing most of the work myself and so much diminishing the "fun" factor! Thanks in advance for any help/direction you can give me. :)
angela www.homesteadblogger.com/withinthelines
The simple answer I...No,he did not do this all himself! He is 4 years old. There is no way he is capable of doing a lapbook all by himself. I have 3 kids of various ages doing lapbooks, so I will give you an answer for each age.
My 13 year old absolutely does the whole thing himself. Most of the time he even decides what topic he would like to do a lapbook on. I print out the booklets and give them to him in a folder. There is also a large ziploc bag in his folder. We decide how many days we would like for this lapbook to take. Then he divides the number of booklets by the number of days and he goes to work. I have helped him glue everything into the folder sometimes. I am a little better at layout and he likes my help there.
My 6 year old of course needs more help. She does a lot of the cutting and as much of the writing as she can. If there is a lot of writing I have her dictate to me what she wants the booklets to say and I write it in. She does the folding and the coloring and for the most part she likes to even lay them out in the folder. (She really wants to do it ALL!)
My 4 year old needs a lot of help. The Transportation Lapbook for example I printed out the night before after he went to bed. Then I cut them all out. I put all the booklets in a big ziploc bag and any that had a bunch of pieces in little ziploc bags. When we were ready to do the lapbook I sit right next to him and we pull out one booklet at a time. He colors them, puts glue where I tell him to. sticks the pieces together with my help. He answers any questions. For example when we did the ABC train in the Transportation lapbook he had to sing his ABC's and look at each little section and decide which on was next. Then he would put glue on the tab and I would help him stick it in the right place.
I remember once when I had first started homeschooling I went to hear a lady speak at a homeschool conference about hands on learning. She was talking about the fact that many of the projects she did with her children were heavily Mom involved. She reminded us that even is she was doing parts of the assmebly she was still modeling to her children how to assemble things & discussing whatever concept she was teaching while they worked together. I see this same thing relating to lapbooks. Each one that I help my littles with is leading them to the day they can do them independently. For my 4 year old a lot of the learning is the figuring out part. What comes next (logic), How many are there (counting), coloring (eye hand coordination), etc. I also see that my kids are just benefiting from the time we spend at the table together working on these. A lot of good conversations come up and we all get to have a lot of fun discussions just because we are all at the table together.
So in answer to the question above, no my children are not some kind of gifted lapbooking geniuses! LOL I am working along with them and helping them where they need it. Sometimes when I am working on a lapbook with both of my littles it gets really hectic because they both want my help. But, that teaches them patience and waiting skills. I usually try to give them something to color, sort or count while I work with the other sibling.
One last thing on this topic. A while back a friend of mine told me that she had tried lapbooking with her son but he didn't like it. I know this little guy and I was surprised he wouldn't like lapbooking. I asked her what he didn't like about it and she said he liked making the booklets but got bored putting them all in the folder and completing the lapbook. My response was "Then let him just make the booklets!" He is 6 and if he gets bored with the complete process let him do the parts he likes. Then Mom can put them in a folder and he will still have a great finished product to show off and be proud of. Keep in mind there is no right or wrong way to do these. Do what works for your child or your family. Let them learn what they can and don't burn them out.
There you have it. My 2 cents! LOL

American Girl Lapbook - FREE
Posted in Lapbooks
One of the reasons I took some time off from my blog is because I had a bunch of ideas of things I wanted to do for school and home that I never had time to get to. One of those things was an American Girl Lapbook.
I have been thinking about this for a long time....I noticed as my daughter and I have been reading through the American Girl series that each of the books have a lot in common. They each represent a important time in American History, they all have a family, friends, pets, a home, toys, etc.
So I started thinking...Why couldn't I make up a lapbook sort of template that could be used for any of the girls in the series? I contacted Ami over at Homeschooshare.com. She had so graciously made up the wonderful booklets for the 12 Days of Christmas Lapbook I had designed. I thought I would hit her up for some more booklets! LOL
Well, guess what? We did it!!!! And I am here to tell you Ami did an amazing job! This is so much better than what I had originally envisioned!
There are booklets for the following:
Did You Know?
Fun Facts
Fashion
A Peek Into the Past
Recipe Pockets
Family
Hobbies
Pets
Best Friend
Books in this Series
Pastimes
Prized Possessions
Mother and Father
Other Characters
Favorite Books in the Series
Hometown
Time Era Tools
House
What I Learned From This Series
Book Report
Plot Triangle
Vocab Flap Book
Vocab File Folders
And as if that is not enough there are also booklets for all of the following that are customized to each girl!!!
______________ World
Who is ______________?
In _____________ Day
Living in ________
___________Conflict
___________ Favorites
___________ Changes
Where did ___________Live (A booklet with a map to color in the home state of each girl.)
_________ Pet
If anyone is wondering that is over 30 booklets! ALL FOR FREE!!! YAY!!!!! These could literally be used to cover a whole year of American History, They are all open ended questions so you can use them for any age girl.
My daughter and I had a blast coming up with the ideas for this lapbook. We have started our first one, on Felicity of course! Hopefully I will have pictures of the finished product to post soon.
There are no words to thank Ami enough for making all these beautiful booklets for us!
You will find all the free printables HERE.
Enjoy!

Wordless Lapbook
Posted in Lapbooks
This is the easiest and most important lapbook we have ever done! We were introduced to the concept of the Wordless Book when my oldest was little. The basic concept to take 5 pieces of paper black, red, white, gold and green. Each of the pieces of paper helps to explain the gift of salvation. The great thing is it does it it terms easy enough for a child to understand.
So I wanted to make a Wordless Lapbook with my 2 little ones. I am always looking for opportunities to talk with my kids about salvation and this is such a simple way of doing it that even my 4 year old can grasp the concepts. The real treasure of this lapbook is discussing all the meanings and planting the concepts in the heads of my little ones.
Here is the cover:

Inside we made a 5" X 5" booklet out of each color.

Inside each of the booklets we put the Bible verse that explains that color.

We also included a little ABC of Salvation Booklet.
Here is the front:

Here is what you see when you lift the flaps. We printed the Bible verses that back up the ABC's on the front and included them under the flaps.

All of the info we used in this lapbook is below. Please feel free to use it if you would like to make one. These would be excellent to make with a Sunday School Class, Awana group, VBS or etc.
Black = Sin
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god.
On our own we fall short of the perfection of God. Sin, or the bad things we do, cause us to live in darkness away from God.
Red = Blood
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
It is through the sacrifice Jesus made by dying on the cross that we are saved from our sins. Because Jesus blood was spilled for us we can live for eternity with Jesus in Heaven.
White = Pure
Psalms 51:7 “ …Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow”
Jesus makes us as clean and as white as snow! If we accept Jesus as our savior God no longer sees our sins!
Yellow = Heaven
John 14:2 "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
In heaven the streets are paved with gold! The Bible tells us Jesus is preparing a place for us in heaven to be with Him.
Green = Growth
2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Green reminds of things that grow. Grass, trees and plants are green. They all grow when they are given the proper food, water and light. We can grow like those plants by reading God’s Word, praying and obeying God’s laws.
Here are the ABC’s of Salvation to print and include in the lapbook. One we used for the outside and the other we used inside.

Jamin's Lapbook Lessons
Posted in Lapbooks
I know, the last thing I needed was ANOTHER blog! LOL But indeed I now have a lapbooking blog!
The reason I started a lapbooking blog is Valerie over at www.LapbookLessons.com contacted me to let me know that they now have an area at their site geared towards lapbooking and all things surrounding, and part of that is having a group of members who use lapbooks in their homeschooling. Here is the Members blogroll http://www.lapbooklessons.com/Blogroll.
The idea is just to have a big lapbooking site where people can come and learn what they need to about lapbooking and find what they're looking for. This is a place for people who don't want to spend money buying pre-made lapbooks to come learn from each other and get free lapbook ideas from each other.
I will also get webspace to host any lapbook files or printables I'd like to share. This is something I have had in the back of my mind for awhile, so I figured this would be a good opportunity to share more freebie in the future.
Right now everything on the lapbooking blog is the same as I have in my lapbooking section here. I probably won't post anything there I don't post here. So if you are reading this blog you really don't need to read that one too. (But you might want to check out the other lapbook blogs there!) The benefit is being able to be a part of an online lapbooking community. I figure if I can encourage one person to try lapbooking I will be paying forward the people who inspired me to get started.

Bee-Attitudes Lapbook
Posted in Lapbooks
We did this lapbook back before Christmas. We had all been fighting the flu and had missed church several Sundays in a row. I decided one week we would just do church at home. So why not a lapbook? LOL The kids and I had been talking a lot about what the Bible really said about happiness, so I thought a lapbook on the Beatitudes was in order.
We started out with the "Bee-Attitudes" write up at sermons4kids.com. I used the whole thing but then where they have "He said things like this" we changed it to "Here is what He said:" and the inserted Matthew 5: 1-12. (We removed the version they had of the Beatitudes. I copied their sermons over to a Word document and made the changes before printing it.) Then we closed with the ending they had that starts with: "You see happiness is not a feeling..."
We cut the above part into two parts so the we could make a booklet with the intro on the outside and then Matthew 5: 1-12 and closing part on the inside. You can see the booklet at the top of the picture below.

The black pockets are cut from black scrapbooking paper and glued with a glue stick. Poor, Mourn, Hunger, Gentle, Merciful, Pure, Peace & Persecuted were stamped at the top of each booklet. What we used for the booklet inside the pockets are Memory Crosses. These cool little gizmos can be purchased HERE. If you have not seen them they are SO cool!
They start out with a slit down the middle. On the front we wrote out each part of the verse from Matthew.
When you flip open the Memory Cross the first time you have another "front". On this flap we started writing what we thought the verse meant.
Then you flip again and get a cross. We continue with our explanation.
One last flip and we wrote the end of our version of the verse. After this flip you can do it one more time and it takes you back to the start.
The Memory Crosses are pretty amazing. I have flipped them a zillion times and I still don't know how they make them! You can go to their website for a better demonstration on how they work and to order a free sample of the product.
Now, back to the lapbook...
The kids and I wrote out an easier to understand version for each of the cards. We spent some time discussing each one and talking about what we thought they meant. I used the version that we had cut out of the "Bee-Attitude" sermon above as a guideline for our discussion then we wrote the following in each of the booklets. (Again using the part we had cut out as a guideline of what to write in the booklets.)
Poor Front:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:3
Poor Inside:
"Bee" happy when things don't go your way...because then you will find...that the things that are really valuable are in Heaven.
Mourn Front:
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matt 5:4
Mourn Inside:
"Bee" happy even when you lose things you love...because then you will be...comforted by God.
Gentle Front:
Blessed are the gentle. for they shall inherit the earth. Matt 5:5
Gentle Inside:
"Bee" satisfied with your life...because then you will find...that God provides all you need.
Hunger Front:
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt 5:6
Hunger Inside:
"Bee" happy when you really need God...for then...God will come and satisfy you.
Merciful Front:
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matt 5:7
Merciful Inside:
"Bee" happy when you help others...because in caring for them you will find...that God will care for you.
Pure Front:
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matt 5:8
Pure Inside:
"Bee" happy when your heart is right with God...because it is then that you will see...that God is at work all around you.
Peace Front:
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Matt. 5:9
Peace Inside:
"Bee" happy when you get along with others...because it is then that you will know...that peace comes from being part of God's family.
Persecuted Front:
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:10
Persecuted Inside:
Be happy when others treat you badly...because you follow Jesus...Your reward will be great in heaven.
This lapbook had all kinds of new technics for us in it. It was the first one we have used the Memory Crosses in, the first we have used stamps in and the first we had used a template to make lines in to write on.
I got this template at a Scrapbooking Convention awhile back and it is GREAT for lapbooking! I can use it to draw lines in the kids booklets so they can not only write straight, but can also get an idea of how much space I want them to fill. (My 13 year old thinks that less is more! LOL)
If you want one of these you can buy it HERE.
So that is our "Bee-Attitude" lapbook. We think it would "Bee" great if you make one too! LOL

This was done by my 13 year and was a free lapbook from Homeschool Helper. HERE is the link to the FREE printables.
They even had the nerve to tax our cup of tea! On the back of the lapbook we included the lyrics from our favorite Boston Tea Party song!
From HISTORY ROCK (1974)
NO MORE KINGS
Music & Lyrics: Lynn Ahrens Sung by: Lynn Ahrens
Rockin' and a-rollin', splishin' and a-splashin',
Over the horizon, what can it be?
The pilgrims sailed the sea
To find a place to call their own.
In their ship Mayflower,
They hoped to find a better home.
They finally knocked
On Plymouth Rock
And someone said, "We're there."
It may not look like home
But at this point I don't care.
Oh, they were missing Mother England,
They swore their loyalty until the very end.
Anything you say, King,
It's OK, King,
You know it's kinda scary on your own.
Gonna build a new land
The way we planned.
Could you help us run it till it's grown?
They planted corn, you know
They built their houses one by one,
And bit by bit they worked
Until the colonies were done.
They looked around,
Yeah, up and down,
And someone said, "Hurray!"
If the king could only see us now
He would be proud of us today.
They knew that now they'd run their own land,
But George the Third still vowed
He'd rule them till the end.
Anything I say, do it my way now.
Anything I say, do it my way.
Don't you get to feeling independent
'Cause I'm gonna force you to obey.
He taxed their property,
He didn't give them any choice,
And back in England,
He didn't give them any voice.
(That's called taxation without representation,
and it's not fair!)
But when the Colonies complained
The king said: "I don't care!"
He even has the nerve
To tax our cup of tea.
To put it kindly, King,
We really don't agree.
Gonna show you how we feel.
We're gonna dump this tea
And turn this harbor into
The biggest cup of tea in history!
They wanted no more Mother England.
They knew the time had come
For them to take command.
It's very clear you're being unfair, King,
No matter what you say, we won't obey.
Gonna hold a revolution now, King,
And we're gonna run it all our way
With no more kings...
We're gonna elect a president! (No more kings)
He's gonna do what the people want! (No more kings)
We're gonna run things our way! (No more kings)
Nobody's gonna tell us what to do!
Rockin' and a-rollin', splishin' and a-splashin',
Over the horizon, what can it be?
Looks like it's going to be a free country.

12 Days of Christmas Lapbook - Revisited
Posted in Lapbooks
The last couple of weeks I have been thinking that I would like to do a 12 Days of Christmas Lapbook with the kids. Then yesterday I had 2 comments posted on The 12 Days of Christmas Lapbook info I researched last year! LOL Apparently I thought this was a good idea last year too! LOL I had completely forgotten that I had put all this together! (How can a person forget somthing they spent this much time doing???) We must have run out of time to do the actual lapbook, but this year it should be easier since all the research is done! LOL So in case anyone wants to make a 12 Days of Christmas Lapbook along with us here is all my research!
I have been working on putting together a lapbook for the 12 Days of Christmas. I thought I would share what I have come up with in case anyone else wants to do it with their kids.
I first heard the Christian meanings to the song three years ago and have wanted to teach the kids about it ever since. There is some question as to whether or not this song was originally written as a Catholic Cathecism in the 1500's. During that time in Europe the Catholic Church was being persectued. Whether it was written with the intent of secretly teaching children about Christian priciples or that was added later, it is still a great way to teach our kids about the Christian faith! Now that I know about lapbooking I figured it is the perfect opportunity!
The meanings are here:

FREE Lapbooks - Homeschool Share
Posted in Lapbooks
I got a note from Ami over at Homeschool Share today. Here is what she had to say...
We’ve been adding lots of new FREE lapbooks at Homeschool Share.
Here is a link:
http://www.homeschoolshare.com/Lapbooks_at_HSS.htm
We’ve also updated our templates page:
http://www.homeschoolshare.com/lapbooking_resources.htm (we have over 100, I think!)
We even have them organized by divisions
We’ve started a section on Animal Studies. These are mini-units (not like our literature based ones). I am offering to make FREE lapbooks for people if they will submit the lessons. I need at least 8 well researched lessons in order to make the lapbook.
Here are the two animal studies we currently have:
Bald Eagles: http://www.homeschoolshare.com/eagles.htm
Frogs: http://www.homeschoolshare.com/Frog_Lapbook.htm
Here is the Animal Studies Page with guidelines: http://www.homeschoolshare.com/animal_studies.htm
