Quiet!

One of the things I enjoy with Mike gone is quiet.  Mat is at the dance, and all the others are in bed!  And the house is quiet!

We accomplished a lot this - from school to reading to keeping the house clean! - Hey, you try and keep the house clean with 6 kids, 1 dog and a deployed husband - it's not as easy as it seems!

Ammon is really coming along in his reading!  I'm super excited about it!  He and Aimee are using the Dolche sight words for spelling and he already knew about 2/3 of the pre-primer words...

Jacob is learning his abc's and doing well at it!

Mat is figuring about algebra...

and Lina moved into her 7th grade math book (and she's 6th grade equilivant age -wise)

and Josie - well, she walks, talks, and throw a pretty good tantrum at times!  She got in 2 more teeth...

And I'm just trying to maintain my sanity until Mike returns.

I love the quiet

When our son is attending classes on Thursday I can enjoy the quiet too. It's amazing how clean our home is when he's gone. lol
