Learning Life with a sick mom!

I have been sick for the last 2 weeks, the last week was the worst. On Tuesday I got up, got Rick his lunch pail, fed the children breakfast and told them I needed sleep. They cheerfully said that they would take care of everything. Now remember, I do have a fully capeable sixteen year old to be in charge. Three hours later when I finally went to the schoolroom I was pleased to see that they had indeed been doing their work. They also were all wearing cards around their wrists which were "bathroom passes"! Sometimes the PS stuff just sounds so fun  they have to try it! I just cracked up. After lunch I went in the room to start some work and found our youngest, Melly, sitting on the chair with each older sister holding a foot and tickling her non-stop. So, things ran in order to some degree, but there was also lots of nonsense running around in the school room as well. |
