Melody received the game Apples to Apples Junior for her birthday. We have the adult version and when we got it we went through to cull out any questionable words, or unnecessary subjects. So, on Sunday night Melody sat with her deck and was sorting through the cards. Here are the words and subjects she took out: Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, Ghosts, Pokemon, all understandably. Nasty - defining words; mean and wicked, Melody thought that that might make game players think about evil things. Attractive -- now this one blessed my heart, Melody said that a Christian man should not be so concerned about attractiveness, that a woman's beauty is on the inside and in how she acts so this word was not applicable. Isn't that interesting? Out of the mouth of babes. |
