Breakfast in the Garden

I am always hoping that THIS will be the year we get a deck out back, but as always there are other needs to meet first and the deck gets pushed back in the list. I guess siding should be higher on the list although I cannot see that done in the near future. So, I have focused on my gardens to bring some beauty to our back yard. They are really coming along, and this year I did not buy nearly as many annuals as usual because so many of my perennials came back in all their glory!
This was a few weeks ago when the beds looked just gorgeous. They do not look so lovely now as my lilies are just transplanted and are small, and the other flowers are not blooming. Oh well.
This breakfast was a quiche and fruit with juice and coffee for me, of course. Sammy was not sure about the quiche but he ended up eating his whole piece. It was a lovely morning and a great way to start the day before getting to the work list.
