About Me 
Home to the Johnson family, Mr. Johnson, a Lake Michigan Commercial Fisherman, myself, his helpmeet, and the happenings of our large and JOYFUL family. At least most days! This is a daily diary of our life, ups, and downs, journaled here for a memorial of the life God has given our family. Our family believes in God's Holy Word, and in our need for a Savior. We believe in Christian Education and the call upon parents to "train up their children in the way they should go." We have six children of which 3 are adult and either in college or graduated from our homeschool and living on their own. Our youngest is 8, so we have a ways to go :) We are worshipers, we love music and are involved in that aspect in our church. We enjoy gardening, canning, crafts, reading and hiking to see sunsets! One of the things that older girls love about the fair is the sweet corn. The fair is often out first chance to get a taste of fresh corn and they know how to do it right, lots of salt and butter! As you can see, Jeni and Mandy were even sharing! |
