Our school room

Here are some pictures of our school room, this is the side where the largest amount of our educational materials are compiled. That table is where I sit and it is used as a desk for myself and Melody, although at times we are all around it for reading, geography and history work. This room has been wonderful as a school area and I am thankful that my sweet husband made it for me. Behind the wall of bookshelves is a memory wall. When we build this room we all painted our names and word descriptions of what we thought about our lives at that time; I believe it was the year 2002. Somewhere I have a picture of that, maybe I will find it and put it on the blog. As you can see we read many books for our literature based history. I just enjoy learning through reading so we also have a library in our office and other rooms have bookshelves as well. I am planning to sell some of our curriculum but have not found a good place on the internet to do so, any suggestions? I may just put a list on my blog and go from there, we'll see. Yes, there are other sides to this room, but our artistic side has taken over the one corner as well as the art cabinet....... so maybe in a few weeks!  |
