United States Documents
5 06 2009The law of the LORD is perfect, riviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-11
God’s law is wonderful and perfect. We feel blessed to live in a country where scripture is the basis for it’s laws. We studied the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights spring of 2009. Below are some of the materials we used.

Please feel free to use these materials with your students. I hope they will help someone.
I would love to hear your opinions about the unit and what I could do in future units I write for my children and others.
God bless America!
Pamela
Cannot believe this wonderful unit. Thank you so much for taking the time to work on this magnificient piece. I’ts amazing!!
Thank you for the wonderful unit! I have a first grader and a pre-k it is great to have them working on the same activity with all of your great work sheets.
AWESOME UNIT!!!! Thank you SOOO much for sharing this. It will be a huge help for my kids!
Hi – thanks for catching the mistake.
I added the new one above.
This is an awesome collection of materials! There is a typo on one of the mini books, though. Inauguration is mispelled (it is spelled inaugeration). I would love to use the mini books with my kids for Constitution Day (Sept. 17), but I don't want to use that one until it can be corrected. Thanks!

Thanks so much for this resource! Now, more than ever before, I think it is extremely important to show our children what was intended and what they need to know about our history and founding documents. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! We are stopping our regular lessons to do a unit about the constitution!
Oh my! Thank you so much for sharing!
I have been researching sites and info on American History. I want to thank you for sharing these resources to help those of us who H S for Free! May God bless you for your sharing, and of course—May God Bless America!
This is beautiful – so well thought out! I'm amazed when I find a fellow homeschool Mom who not only puts something like this together for her own kids, but also takes the time to share it with others! What a blessing. Thanks so very much!
Pamela!
Thank you so much! As a single mom who homeschools I love finding great resources. We are doing American History next year and this will be perfect!
Wonderfully done,
Karen
