Blah

Yesterday:
    * continued cleanup of chldren's vomit and diarrhea
    * reading aloud most of Mr. Popper's Penguins
    * watching March of the Penguins with family
    * bake birthday cake for son
    * waking at midnight feeling like I have to throw up but not getting relief until about 2 a.m. Sleep for about an hour, repeat. Occasionally use two receptacles at once.

Today:
    * Barely comprehending what I'm typing.
    * Thankful that my husband can work from home today
    * Grateful for son's apparent improvement; dismayed at daughter's regression, especially since she was hospitalized about 18 months ago for very severe dehydration with same cause
    * Laughing a tiny bit that my children's main concern when told I was also stricken was whether we still would have birthday cake.

Sorry, Comet. Happy Birthday anyway.
