6 years ago today, when I was only 7 years old, I was playing with some Legos in my room when I noticed how much noise I heard in the living room. My dad was folding laundry, my big brother was in there with him (probably not helping with the laundry) and my dad was calling my mom to come in there. I didn’t realize what was going on until I noticed my big brother watching the TV. So I looked over at the TV and saw a building on fire –nothing else. So I decided It couldn’t be anything important enough for me not to play with my Legos. So I went back to my room where my Lego Minifigs were waiting for me.

A little while later, (being only 7, I wasn’t very sure of the time) I heard my dad call my mom again. Only this time, his voice sounded quite serious. I figured I better check out what was happening in the living room once again. My dad was done with the laundry but still watching the TV with my big brother,. My mom had just come into the room and they now were all watching TV. So after dodging my mom, dad, big bro, little bro, who had followed me into the room, the laundry that was still in the floor, and whatever else, I found a spot were I could see the TV. They were still watching this building burn, which totally stumped me as to why they would do this. But this time I decided to stay in the living room since that was where all of my family was. After watching it for a little while, I got bored. So I went to the kitchen where my mom was cooking breakfast. While I was in there, I heard both my dad and brother start yelling, and I didn’t have a clue why. So I, in my curious 7 year old brain decided to take my third look into the room. But this time my mom came with me. As I walked into the room, I noticed that all I saw on the TV was smoke, -lots and lots of smoke. I just didn’t understand. So I asked my mom what was going on. She told me “Some bad men flew an airplane into this building”.

6 years later, I realize what a tragic event this was. So for now, I would like to have a moment f silence for the 9/11 victims.

Hwne they crashed into the towers six years ago, I was doing school. Then my mom started to cry so I looked over a the TV, saw what had happened and cryed too. Mom called dad where he was at work to make sure he was okay. He said he was a little freaked out cuase he heard it on the radio and all the announcers were panicing. Yeah, after that we were all a little freaked out. I cryed the most because we saw a bunch of clips of the buildings falling and you could see people jumping off and everything.
I was 10.

I think the moment of silence thing and the song werea good trubute.

I was kind of young then, too, so all I remember was my mom bringing me home from school early. Thanks for making me a friend.
