| On Monday, hyper-kid and I took a "field trip" to Steak & Shake. We looked at homeschool catelogs, DS told me what he'd like to study next year, we ate, and the district manager showed us around and talked to DS. We couldn't go into the kitchen area due to insurance regulations, but the manager took us to the doorway and told us about everything. He gave DS a menu, and paid for our lunch! He was a really nice guy, and very open to homeschooling. . Last night in lieu of a church service, we caroled at the homes of our shut-ins. There were around 50 of us! There were even several of the neighbors who came out to ask us to stroll over to their home and sing too. Then it was back to the church for hot chocolate, cookies and games. What fun we had! We played Cranium 'til 11 and laughed so much that I lost 2 pounds! asdlkfjsdlkfjaf . Looking around the room last night, it struck me how much of a "real" family we are. In fact, more real than real! I'm looking forward to spending eternity with these brothers and sisters. .
I just read this. Wow, what a blessing!
. By the way, you can always tell when I post from work because the formatting doesn't work. Macs are awesome for my line of work, but they're wonky for blogging!
