The Kids Literature Club presents The Princess and the Goblin.  Here you will find a printable pdf of each chapter as it is ready.  There are vocabulary activities and a link to an audio recording of the book.  Eventually there will be a pdf of the full book and a printable activity guide.

The Princess and the Goblin , written by George MacDonald, was first published in 1872.  George MacDonald was a prolific writer.  He is best known for his fantasy works which inspired a new generation of writers (including C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien).   Read about him on wikipedia here.
