Jan. 22, 2008 - Here is what I have decided for next year.

Reading  R&S 2nd grade
Phonics R&S 2nd grade
Math R&S 2nd grade
Spelling 3rd grade
Penmanship finish 3rd grade then go to 4th grade
Bible reading a bible passage and the explorer bible study
History MOH vol 2
Science Christian kids explore biology.
Latin Prima latina again then move into Latina Christiana .
Art Artpac 2
Music R&S again

I will be ordering my books in about two months. Then we will start school when we feel like it. I might change music around some and use two different types of music. So we will see on that though. So that is what I am planning.

Aug. 9, 2007 - If I had MOH when I went to school then......

I would remember what I learn in school.  I love the simple activities and notebook pages  My dd is liking history to   We will be doing memory cards and notebook page and maps.  It is alot of hands on and that is what she loves. Im off to find some coloring pages to color and go with.

Aug. 8, 2007 - Well the thrid day has

Well this was the third day and it was really easier.  I have broken down the Zoology 1 so it is not so much reading so Allison dont have to set for a long time.  Well I will keep you posted.

Aug. 7, 2007 - Well THe second day of school

Well today was second day of school  It is already getting to be good. We are using Zoology 1 and MOH  What can I say I love them.  Why havnt I used R&S before  I love them too. It is really easy  It takes us about 3 hrs for school then we are done for the day.  I trying to get our notebook started up and going then start doing a character study on the fruit of the spirit and A woman of God using the Created to be his helpmeet by Debi Pearl.   So it is going great  So Wish us luck on the school year.

Aug. 6, 2007 - Homeschool books are here

Yeah  The books are here.  Well I just love MOH. I cant put it down.  Im so excited about the book.  I cant wait to start the book today.    Well it is officailly our first day of school.  Im glad it is finally here.  So I just thought I would write a post that the books are in and we are starting today.  If you havnt use it yet you should try the MOH or Mystery of History .

Aug. 1, 2007 - My Hubby built me a book case

I ask hubby to build a bookshelf and He built me a book case.  It took 3 of us to get it into the house. The measurements are 6ft tall , 4ft wide, and 2ft deep  I add link to picture of it click on the link to see it

Jul. 30, 2007 - Well we start school Next monday.

Well I have books order and we will start Aug.6   We will use basic worksheets to warm up then we will start up really slowly at first then We  should be going full force by August the 20.  We will be doing 9 subjects but not everyday. We will have our fun time also.  We homeschooled for about 30 minutes last year and I hoping to add only 2-4 hours on too that. I want to be done by 1:00 so I can clean up house before DH gets home from work.   Well  I am in a better mood then I was Friday. I will just take it one day and one month at a time. My DD will be 6 tomorrow. Were does the time go.

Jul. 20, 2007 - Well I got half of homeschool supplies

Well I got over half of school supplies Now I just need my books.  I will be ordering them starting this week and all. I cant wait to get started.  I will be quite busy seen as I have a lot of subjects to introduce and help with.  Allison is so ready to start her self.  I have to keep her out of her school supplies.  I still have to get papers and dbinders and dividers for our notebooks for our subjects.  Well that is it for now.

Jul. 10, 2007 - Back to School sales

Well it is the start of back to school sales.  Im so excited  I will be going this weekend to get crayons and pencils and other great stuff.  I will have to buy more school supplies then last year. This year I will have art program and not just using drawing paper and pencils with crayons added.

Jun. 27, 2007 - Im so ready to start school.

Im so ready to start school.  Just so My DD will quit asking to do school.   I wish she would be glad for a little time off but no she wants to do school everyday.
