Growing in wisdom and stature

Snow, snow and more snow and other random thoughts
We woke up to more snow this morning.  I am so ready for warm weather, but maybe all this snow will mean less fires this summer.

My husband and son are off today for a field clean up day down at the baseball fields.  It all sounds pretty cold to me.

We finished up our testing yesterday and got those sent off in the mail!  Yea!!!  It feels good to have that done.

I really don't have a lot scheduled for the day other than catching up on housework.  It feels a little weird to have such an open day.  But I am sure that God will give me the wisdom to manage!

Our church is returning to one service tomorrow so that will be good.  We will have Sunday school at 9:30am and church at 10:30am.  I am looking forward to the change as it will mean that I will be able to see more faces.  With two services it always feels like there are people that I never get to see.

I am not sure if it is going to come....it sure felt like winter this morning dealing with snow and ice all over my car this morning! It is hanging around too as it is cold out there!
What kind of testing do you do?
We were doing a program to earn tickets to Silverwood by reading 10 hours the last two months, but had not tried hard for my second son, so we worked really hard and i think got enough just barely to get one for the two oldest! Combined with getting ready to move, it has been crazy!

Oh, glad you enjoy the menus, I post them mainly so I have a copy that I cannot lose and think things through and it really helps me stay more organized!

It has snowed here, too. I can't wait for more warm weather, we keep getting teasers of warmth that just last a day or two.

Does your church switch to one service for the summer? I've heard of churches doing that.

Hope you enjoyed your 'open day' and relaxed a little!

Hi Shari, IEW stands for The Institute for Excellence in Writing. Andrew Peduwa is the author. it is a writing curriculum that apparently transforms childrens lives. Heck, while I was at his booth checking out his material, I had two different ladies who shared their testimony of writing transformation in their children. That has to be worth something. Josh is my big "anti any school" child. Some days are better than others but . . . If you go to my page again and see "boysrus" comment, you will see a link she has to her page with some content about him. I must be handi-capable with my intense inability to get my links to work. I mean really. I left a note for ANYONE who knows what I need to do to get the things to work to let me know. I missed the memo on how to do it properly.
I hope your snow melts soon. We are slipping into the upper 40's and even some upper 50's. Last year we had really warm weather in Ohio in late March/early April and all our fruit trees/plants were blossoming, when we were hammered with a huge frost and Ohio crops were wiped out. it was very sad. minimal apples/peaches/strawberries/pears etc. . . I don't want to wish warm weather to quickly as I do not want a repeat of last year. I hope you have a blessed week with your blessings, Tammy
